Five years ago, the US Space Force became a reality. And while those writing the checks took things very seriously, the other military branches did not. As a result, Space Force was populated by undesirables: men and women who made too many mistakes, didn't follow the rules, or...slept with the wrong general's daughter. Three times. On camera. It was a mistake, okay? My name is Captain Ethan Stone, a decorated member of SEAL Team Six turned Space Force "recruit".

This series took me right out of a book slump. I was looking for the next great book or series to get into. This was it. I couldn't stop listening. I got the all the other books/series by the author right away. Narration was very well done. Get the book, you won't regret it.

I enjoyed the book, however it took me several chapters to accept the narrators voice. Her voice isn't bad, she just dramatizes each sentence. Either I got used to it or she scaled back further into the story. Regardless, I loved the story and plan to purchase the second book in this series.
