Knowing that one more blow to his heart could destroy him, Giovanni had built walls up around his heart to protect himself. He had created strict rules for himself about the men he slept with, which included never exchanging names and absolutely no repeat performances. That was until he met a young man whom he found impossible to forget.

I always enjoy when Michael Pauley narrates a story and, once again, he had me hooked on the storyline. Having read Feeding The Soul I felt that Pauley brought the characters, their emotions and their personalities to life. Hip and Caleb are soulmate, neither was out looking for love but it found them. Their interactions are real and we get introduced to Greene family. all I can say is, I hope Pauley and Michael's hook up for the next book in the series, "Music of the Soul." Please.

At 23, an undiagnosed heart condition sends pro hockey player Cameron Riley back to his hometown newly single and looking for work. Cam can't hide his past - especially when his heart racing is a big risk, and boy, does his new boss's nephew make his heart race. Noah's exactly the kind of guy Cam needs after his hellish ex. Buzz is a steamy, standalone gay romance novel with a happily ever after ending and no cliffhanger.

I adore Michael Pauley and he narrates Buzz perfectly. He brings Cam and Noah perfectly to life and I hope we get a chance to hear more of The Riley Brothers series narrated by him.

Things weren't supposed to turn out this way. My story should have been different. Happier. Maybe in another life, it would've been. But, life isn't a fairy tale, and the good guys don't always win. I didn't mean to cause anyone pain. I just wanted to end my own. The letter, his words - crushed me. It seemed as if there was no other way out. Nothing can change what happened, and nothing could have prepared me for what came after those two words: Dear Adam.

Dear Adam. And with that Adam's world changed. In this book Adam tells us his story, a story weaved over the passage of time. From friendship, to first love, happiness, pain and loss. A feeling that you can't go on. In the end, it's one of triumph and learning to move on.

He promised to never leave me. But when I needed him the most, that was exactly what he did. Wilderness guide Xander Reed has spent fifteen years trying to forget the night he turned to his best friend in his darkest hour, only to find the young man who'd sworn to always have his back was turning his on Xander instead. Two thousand miles and fifteen years of building a new life in the quiet backcountry of the Rocky Mountains should have been enough to put the memory of Bennett Crawford out of his mind.

Michael Pauley is one of the best. He brings so much emotion and depth to the characters he brings to life. The moments when Xander craved Bennett (Benny to Xander) but couldn't have him were heart wrenching. I'm glad that fate intervened and brought these two back together, even if Xander was headstrong at first. They couldn't deny what was in front of them forever and, I believe, fate wouldn't have allowed them to wall away again.

Just out of an 18-year marriage, the last thing Jackson expects the first time he visits a gay bar is for a sexy, drunk, 26-year-old twink to mistakenly climb into his Jeep. The twink part he's good with, the drunk part...not so much. As far as Jackson's concerned, the boy should come with a warning label. But Derek is not as flighty as Jackson thought...he's actually pretty incredible. Getting to know the wild, funny man is a breath of fresh air.

Gary should be living it up in his South Tower unit of Metropolis, but he's having a hard time adjusting to his newly single status. It's not easy to walk away from five years with his ex, who he discovered was cheating on him with some North Tower twink. After a night out partying, licking his wounds, he goes to bed alone. When he wakes the next morning, there's a naked guy in his bed. Not just any guy. A stud from North Tower. But hot as he is, what the hell is he doing in his room?
