Silent Victim keeps you guessing. It had my attention from the beginning and kept it all the way through. The antagonist in the book is my one knock on the story as he (and the storyline surrounding him) is not totally believable. The rest of the characters and story make up for it though (in my opinion).

I liked this book quite a bit. The story was original and the characters are believable. There was a twist I did not see coming which explained some unanswered questions. But somehow I feel that the ending was disappointing though I can't put my finger on exactly why.

This was my first James Patterson mystery and I can see what all the hype is about! This novel kept my attention throughout. There were different "books" with mini stories that all played within the overall story arc to help tell the story over a span of many years. I did guess "who done it" but only after incorrectly thinking I had figured it out... twice. The narrators were fantastic. They really brought the story to life.

This was a solid novel. The story line kept my interest. While it wasn't the typical Thriller that I listen to with many twists and turns, the story had a solid build up. The narrator did a solid job of giving voice to the many different characters. and the author gave them each a unique backstory. the novel was a bit long but kept my interest the whole way through.
