This book was good, not great. The narrator does a fantastic job. The story is interesting and takes the viewpoint of several characters. I just felt the book was longer than it needed to be and the story lagged at some points. But the author did a good job of tidying up loose ends and bringing it to a strong conclusion.

This was a great book! There were many twists and turns that kept me guessing throughout, not only about the main storyline but in some of the related side stories as well. The characters were believable and well-developed. The narrator was fantastic. The story did take a little while to develop but I'm glad I stayed with it. This is not a story that will keep you at the edge of your seat but it will keep your interest (especially as the wedding nears) and will be worth the read.

In This Is Me, Chrissy Metz shares her story with a raw honesty that will leave listeners both surprised but also inspired. Infused with the same authenticity she brings to her starring role, Chrissy's This Is Me is so much more than your standard Hollywood memoir or collection of personal essays. She embraces the spirit of Shonda Rhimes' Year of Yes and shares how she has applied the lessons she learned from both setbacks and successes. A born entertainer, Chrissy finds light in even her darkest moments and leaves the listener feeling they are spending time with a friend who gets it.

Chrissy Metz is awesome! I am so glad I decided to buy this book. I listened to it in full within 2 days. Chrissy is so down-to-Earth and honest in this book about her struggles to break into Hollywood as a plus-sized actress. I learned that she and I share the same perspective on life and the "get what you give" mentality. She gives a lot of great advice throughout. I will definitely listen to this again one day.

Silent Victim keeps you guessing. It had my attention from the beginning and kept it all the way through. The antagonist in the book is my one knock on the story as he (and the storyline surrounding him) is not totally believable. The rest of the characters and story make up for it though (in my opinion).

This was my first James Patterson mystery and I can see what all the hype is about! This novel kept my attention throughout. There were different "books" with mini stories that all played within the overall story arc to help tell the story over a span of many years. I did guess "who done it" but only after incorrectly thinking I had figured it out... twice. The narrators were fantastic. They really brought the story to life.
