My resignation letter was rejected by my boss with his sexy, trademark smirk and an "I highly suggest you read the fine print of your contract...." So, I did. And now I've realized that unless I fake my death, poison him, or find a way to renegotiate my impossible contract, I'm stuck working under one of the cockiest and most ruthless bosses in New York. Then again, I thought that was the case until he called me late last night with an emergency proposition....

When a letter from his supposedly deceased mother finds its way into his hands, life changes in an instant for international pop star Bodhi Beckett. Reeling from the deception of those closest to him, Bodhi spirals out of control and is sent to a secluded mansion in the coastal mountains of Southern California for some rest and relaxation. But the retreat proves to be anything but relaxing when a raging wildfire sets the landscape around him ablaze. While escaping the flames, Bodhi rescues Breeze, a quirky, pet-loving woman, and together the two fight their way to safety.

What an adrenaline rush of starts. Outrunning a raging wildfire is an hairdresser, a pop star, 2 dogs little Dick & Hercules, a cat, Lucy a fish Winston, and 2 rats Brangelina. Thank you J. Bengtsson for finding some humor during such a life or death situation. Breeze and Bodhi met and connect through the unlikeliest of circumstances. They were both courageous, quirky and kind. I enjoyed watching Bodhi and Breeze accepting and overcoming each obstacle thrown their way, while becoming friends, then finding love. There were lots of laugh out loud moments, parts where I had tears streaming, and parts where my heart was beating so fast I though I was right there along with them. Zachary Webber outdid himself with this narration, he was perfection. This is my first Callie Dalton read and I wouldn't say I'm a fan yet but I'd give her a 3.5 star performance. I recommend this beautiful read with 5 wonderful stars!

Everyone wants to get close to a rock star. The bright lights. The music. Those talented fingers strumming...a guitar. Everyone wants to bang a rock star. So why do I keep running from the one who wants me? I'm America's sweetheart. I have a reputation. He's a boy-band icon turned rock god. I'm vanilla. He's every flavor of bad. And he's much, much too young for me. If I end up in Nick Ryder's bed, my career and I will both be screwed. But that's only if I'm caught.

I did not like Natalia. Her issues with age kept her from having a real relationship with Nick and hurt him in the process. Nick is in love with her but have to hide his feelings, who wants that? Natalia doesn't deserved Nick. She might be older but Nick is the more mature of the two. I love Laurelin Paige books but this one wasn't for me.

Charlotte Taylor has three automatic strikes in my book: 1) She hates me. She also claims that I'm a "domineering jerk with a huge, overbearing ego". (I do have something huge. It's not my ego, though.) 2) She takes our mandatory tutoring sessions way too seriously. 3) She's sexy as hell...and a virgin. At least those were her strikes before our study sessions started lasting longer than they were supposed to. Until one innocent kiss became a hundred dirty ones, and until she became the first woman I ever fell hard for.

I love the person Charlotte is. Most story have the woman jumping in bed way too early in some unrealistic way. This wasn't that, it was slow and sweet. I loved how Grayson slowly broke down her walls, it was fun watching them fall in love. As for Anna, I wanted to reach into the book and slap her so hard!😡. Whitney G I have to say your books never disappoint. Love, laughter, sadness, and at one point even tears. Incase you haven't figured it out yet, yes I highly recommend this book! Joseph Discher is a first time narrator for me and he did a good job, he captured both the young adult and adult version of both characters well, Erin Mallon as always was just awesome

I woke up five hours late after a reckless one-night stand with the sexiest, cockiest, and most arrogant man I’ve ever met. My top two clients for my PR company left to my number one competitor, my roommate "accidentally" bleached my favorite suit, and my favorite coffee shop was shut down for "health concerns". Still, none of those things dimmed my excitement for what was supposed to be the best four o’clock signing session of my career. Then that sexy, arrogant one-night stand stepped into my office with a familiar smirk and introduced himself as my new, cocky client....

I wouldn't say I love this one as it took awhile to get going. Muhrder and Sarah didn't meet as early in the book and the first part of the story really dragged. Unlike previous books where we got a lot of prospective from the Brothers this one only featured a few. What I did love though was seeing John Matthew finally got the honor he deserved. The way the Brothers treated Muhrder was just terrible. He was judged unfairly for years and abandon by his family who is supposed to be their for him. He is such a good person too, the title of the book is perfect for him. Sarah is a great match for Muhrder, she is an intelligent strong and compassionate woman, and will fit in nicely with the rest of the females. Overall I'd have love to see more Lassiter, Butch, V and Rhage. This is the BDB and all the Brothers are usually more prominent. Love the way Lassiter is ruling as I couldn't stand the Scribe Virgin with her do not question me attitude. Jim Frangione was ok except I wish they would go back to the original pronunciation of the names. Yes it might have been the wrong pronunciation but they were so much better and why fixed something that wasn't broken!

This one is full of romance, laughter, angst, and a dog will very bad gas! Alton did a number on Mack. She lost her confidence and Slade was just the right person to help her heal, just like she helped him heal. I tried hating Slade for his behaviour towards Mack but I just couldn't, because ppl deal with grief in different ways. Watching the two of them try to figure out their lives, friendship, and relationship was just beautiful. Add in Slade's love / hate relationship with Jagger and his friendship with Matt, I just couldn't put this book down. Risky Play was truly a joy to read. If you're looking for a book to laugh out loud, feel their pain, and their love then I highly recommend Risky Play.

Sullivan and Will are as close as two friends can be. Growing up in the system forced them to rely on each other, and they've become accustomed to sharing everything - including women. Now they're ready for more. To find love. To start a family. To see the dreams they've shared since childhood come true. Apparently I tick off every box on their list - brains, beauty, and sass. I never hesitate to put both men in their places - which they find sexy as hell. One problem, I'm a traditional girl, with traditional values - one man, one woman, till death do us part - kind of values.

It was a slow burn feel good romance. For the genre I expected a lot more steam. The issues they had was realistic, but the way they solved it was to easy and not very believable. Narration was ok, can't go wrong with Jacob and Jason, I wish Jason had more scenes though. Not one I'll be listening to again though and would not recommend it.

It was just a typical Monday. Until the big boss asked me to make the pitch for a prospective new client. After two years on shaky ground at work because of my screw up, an opportunity to impress the senior partners was just what I needed. Or so I thought, until I walked into the conference room and collided with the man I was supposed to pitch to. My coffee spilled, my files tumbled to the ground, and I almost lost my balance. And that was the good part of my day. Because the gorgeous man who crouched down and looked at me like he wanted to eat me alive was none other than my ex.

This is my first book by Jessica Wayne and it won't be the last. The story was mesmerizing and I was hooked from the first page. Timothy's life was so sad until he met Paislee. Add some mystery to the plot and this make for a great book. The narrator had the voice for the story however he didn't do a good performance. He read way too fast and never changed his voices until the words all became the same. I'd recommend this book but read it yourself instead of listening you won't be disappointed.
