Of those that answer a summoning too many are black. Black dragons are the enemy of humankind. Black dragons are mad. Falco Dante is a weakling in a world of warriors, but worse than this, he is the son of a madman. Driven by grief, Falco makes a decision that will drive him to the brink of despair. As he tries to come to terms with his actions Falco follows his friends to the Academy of War.

at first when I saw a lot of the reviews I almost didn't want to purchase this book just because of how bad some of them were. I do understand that the biggest issue with this book is the audio editing itself. The narrator does have an interesting style of narrating but after listening to it for a while I got used to it and came to enjoy it. I am overall very happy with getting this book I really enjoyed the story and I'm very happy that I decided to give it a try. if you like Fantasy Dragons Knights and a good Magical coming-of-age Tale then this is the book for you

What did you love best about The Novice?

My favorite part has to be the storyline itself. It is a great coming of age tale with magic, elves, dwarfs, and demons. What else could you want

In 1854, Caulborn agents stopped an interdimensional warlord named Sakave from conquering our universe. With protective extradimensional barriers in place, Sakave's attempted conquest is now little more than a note in the Caulborn's archives. That is, until the recent catastrophe at Ashgate Penitentiary weakened those barriers and made Sakave a threat again. Things get worse when Commander Courageous gives Vincent Corinthos a dangerous piece of advice, which fractures those barriers even further.

I cannot even describe how much I love this series of books. The stories transport you to another world and you feel as though you are living them yourselves. This story in particular was very interesting and exciting throughout the entire story. This is a must listen to for sure

He shows up in a new high school in a new town under a new name, makes a few friends, and doesn't stay long. Just long enough for someone in his new friend's family to die of "natural causes." Mission accomplished, Boy Nobody disappears, moving on to the next target. But when he's assigned to the mayor of New York City, things change.
