I love how the author links the past characters with the new ones. Normally they move on with a light reference. This book didn't do that.
Also, it's just as funny as book 1. The condom scene was so darn funny. Loved it!!!

Audible needs to link the series together!!

There is no light or clarity...until she arrives. I save her life, plucking her from the sky. From that point on, she is mine. But the human I have chosen for my mate - Sasha - is fragile and wounded. She does not trust me and fears my presence. I will not give up, though. I will do anything to give her my fires and bond us both in body and spirit.

What about Amanda Leigh Cobb’s performance did you like?

It was tricky for the first 10 minutes or so to embrace the new voice. She did a great job.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Sarah Maas is such a great author. I never cried so hard. That last battle almost caused a car accident because I could not see through the tears.

Any additional comments?

I hope it does not end here. I would love to know if that wall goes back up. Will there be children? Will Tamlin find a mate? I think he needs another submissive human. So many unanswered questions.
