One look at Jericho Forge, and I knew the rumors were true. He was a predator, and he had set his sights on me. I knew better than to bet more than I could afford to lose that night. I knew better than to bet myself. But desperation leads to bad decisions, and I thought there was no way I could lose. I was wrong. Now I have no choice but to make a deal with the devil....

Célian Laurent. Manhattan royalty. Notorious playboy. Heir to a media empire...and my new boss. I could have impressed him, if not for last month's unforgettable one-night stand. I left it with more than orgasms and a pleasant memory - namely, his wallet. Now he's staring me down like I'm the dirt under his Italian loafers, and I'm supposed to take it. But the thing about being Judith "Jude" Humphry is I have nothing to lose. Brooklyn girl. Infamously quirky. Heir to a stack of medical bills and a tattered couch.

I have to admit I was becoming a little disappointed w the Romance Club selections. Most of the books available I had already bought and read many years ago. Awesome books by the way but keywords “already bought”. So imagine my surprise when this little gem appeared in my suggested listening section. The art cover and title lured me in. Then the rest followed. Wow!! Loved the storyline! Loved the characters! Judith aka Jude is one bad ass woman! The sex was fire alarm Hot!! Will be adding her as a must have author to read. The narrators were brilliant. Especially Jacob Morgan’s French speaking. His smart ass but oh so charming way of speaking! Sigh!! 😍Grace Grant was perfect for Jude. Highly recommend giving this book a read! I will be adding more LJ Shen books to my shelf for sure.

There’s no way a handsome billionaire would pay money for me. I’m mousey and look like I stepped right out of the nerd brigade. It’s not like the guys were beating down my door, so I figured I’d sell my virginity for some extra cash. At first, I thought the website was a scam. But when a handsome stranger shows up at my work in a limo and demands that I come with him, I’m swept off my feet...and not in the way I expected.

This is a story about a girl who puts her virginity up for sale. The guy who bids and wins appears to be your typical dominant male character. The story flowed nicely except that it seemed to go from untrusting to insta love really quickly. Sky Corgan was an enjoyable author. The narrator had a nice female voice but was quite distracting w the male voice. At times overly aggressive and dramatic. This was the first book that I have read of hers. I received a free copy in exchange for an unbiased review.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend "Fire" to a friend. Calinda B.'s writing style kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next. Sprinkle in an arranged marriage to the head of the Diamond Club family and you have a story that keeps you guessing.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Fire?

There were a few that come to mind but I don't want to give any spoilers.

What does Lynn Norris bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Her voice for different characters is nice to listen to. She also has a beautiful singing voice.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I really enjoyed the relationship between Agent Savanah and Agent Adam.

Any additional comments?

Overall the book was a fun read. It was entertaining w a side of adventure. I like a little more smut in my books but it was an enjoyable read and worth a credit in my opinion. I was given a copy of this audiobook for free to give my review.

I have no words!! CD Reiss has done it again! This is a story of a husband who is so madly in love w his wife that he denies a huge part of who he is to be w her!! Fast forward 5 yrs later and she decides that she wants out. He finally kinda comes clean and suggests if she gives him 30 days away from the city he will give her a clean divorce . This is an opportunity to show her the real him that has been missing. And as Reiss does so well she has taken my emotions and thrown them in a blender!! Worth a credit? Hell yeah!! Even though I now have to wait for another book!! A must read!!!

It started off as a dare...a harmless one-night-stand with a complete stranger. He was just another bad boy I met in a bar, a harmless fling to start my summer vacation. One unbelievable night of sex, and I'd never have to see him again. But the next morning as I pull up to the lake house my mom has rented for the summer, I get the feeling my world is about to crumble...it was just supposed to be us girls - me, my two sisters, and Mom...but we're not alone....

Sounded like the narrator was in a tunnel while reading. The narrator itself was distracting. She rushed the whole time.

Learned a little about cooking too!! Shana T does a wonderful job of sucking u into the story and feeling apart of it! The only downside and it is tiny is that Sebastian York only has a part in the epilogue. Love that man's voice!! Yum!! Either way definitely worth a credit and then some!!
