For years, rumors of the "Marsh Girl" have haunted Barkley Cove. So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. The storyline was slow, the character development was stunted, and the resolution was sluggish for being so predictable. I wouldn’t recommend this novel for readers or listeners looking for serious engagement with either the content or protagonist. Could be a good time-filler for those looking for a generic story though.
