What starts as a one night stand leaves both of them wanting more, but then Eric finds out Shane doesn't just outrank him, he's an officer. DADT may be repealed, but an enlisted man getting involved with an officer falls under conduct unbecoming a gentleman and could cost both men their careers. They both have kids to take care of, future civilian careers to consider, and retirements on the line. Still, they can't resist each other. As long as no one asks and they don't tell, there's no reason anyone has to find out.

Ten years ago Sheriff's Deputy Aaron George lost his wife and moved to Colton, hoping growing up in a small town would be better for his children. He's gotten to know his community, including Mr. Larkin, the bouncy, funny science teacher. But when Larx is dragged unwillingly into administration, he stops coaching the track team and starts running alone. Aaron - who thought life began and ended with his kids - is distracted by a glistening chest and a principal running on a dangerous road.

I love this story. My favorite scene was the School Board meeting when Principal Larkin "told like it is" an shut down the homophobic bigots.

The narrator was real good and brought the characters and scenes to life.

Can't wait to listen to the sequel, Crocus!

This is a great story. Riley Hart is an excellent storyteller weaving emotions and real life problems into a beautiful piece of art. Nick and Bryce are real, solid, confused and so very much in love.

Every life has several crossroads. Happily for Nick and Bryce they took each one together, but the first one was the most important . . . allowing themselves to consider and accept that they were meant to be together.

Sean Crisden was the perfect narrator for this story. He's never disappointed me!

The shots came quickly, silently, and with deadly accuracy. Within seconds, three people were dead at Central Park's ice skating rink. The victims: a talented young skater, a doctor, and a teacher. As random as random can be. Eve Dallas has seen a lot of killers during her time with the NYPSD, but never one like this. After reviewing security videos, it becomes clear that the victims were killed by a sniper firing a tactical laser rifle, who could have been miles away when the trigger was pulled.
