Woodward draws from hundreds of hours of interviews with firsthand sources, meeting notes, personal diaries, files, and documents. The focus is on the explosive debates and the decision-making in the Oval Office, the Situation Room, Air Force One, and the White House residence.

Great book by a respected two time Pulitzer Prize recipient about criminals in Washington and specifically in the West Wing. These are dangerous times, let me say again DANGEROUS times. Thanks Mr. Woodward. You have served this country for a long, long time. Watergate was my entrance into politics. Thank you for that too. A fan.

In the face of a president who lobs accusations without facts, evidence, or logic, truth tellers are under attack. Meanwhile, the world order is teetering on the brink. North Korea is on the verge of having a nuclear weapon that could reach all of the United States, Russians have mastered a new form of information warfare that undercuts democracy, and the role of China in the global community remains unclear. There will always be value to experience and expertise, devotion to facts, humility in the face of complexity, and a respect for ideas, but in this moment they seem more important, and more endangered, than they've ever been.

We elected a monster for president and I hope we survive. I thank Mr. Hayden for his book and for reading it himself. His thoughts and background, width, and expanse of his knowledge are a national treasure. I hope we make through this administration crisis and crime. There is no prison deep or dark enough for Trump.

I’m not a scientist, but I am a registered nurse. Even so, not always easy to understand everything presented, but I enjoyed the book very much. Listen to the book, just continue through any difficult parts, because you will still understand the presentation overall. You will likely enjoy it as I have enjoyed myself.

Now you can waste not one, not two, but four perfectly good hours listening to Car Talk Classics, featuring some of Tom and Ray's favorite complete programs: everything from opening rant to bogus answers to eccentric closing credits. Whether they really help callers fix their transmissions is an open question, but the Car Talk guys certainly know how to transfix their listeners.

I have long been disabled and sometimes depression wears on me, but for decades it has been audiobooks that are the surest medicine with only beneficial effects. (Of-course anti-depressants are necessary too). Sometime in the future, sooner rather than later I will start this series again. See you all then. PEACE.

Sixteen-year-old Starr Carter moves between two worlds: the poor neighborhood where she lives and the fancy suburban prep school she attends. The uneasy balance between these worlds is shattered when Starr witnesses the fatal shooting of her childhood best friend Khalil at the hands of a police officer. Khalil was unarmed. Soon afterward, his death is a national headline. Some are calling him a thug, maybe even a drug dealer and a gangbanger. Protesters are taking to the streets in Khalil’s name. Some cops and the local drug lord try to intimidate Starr and her family. What everyone wants to know is: what really went down that night? And the only person alive who can answer that is Starr.

Many people need to read this book and others like this book. Things NEED to change in America or America will never be a great nation. We are not great yet, no matter the common and popular belief. America will never be great while people of color, poor, disabled, the mentally ill and all the people that have been hated are ignored by the engine of powers that drive hate. Please, please stop, just stop being stupid white people and learn how to live with all people. I’m ashamed of my race, always have been, probably always will be ashamed of my white race. I relate so much and enjoyed this audio-book, and being a potty mouth myself I was not bothered by the language. Mr Hart provides several very good suggestions about living life, and I felt that what he offers is valuable and can be helpful in my effort to live better and meaningful life as a happier person.
I do not watch TV, listen to radio, Instead I listen to audio-books all the time. I am a bit of a recluse and see no value in social media, never twittered. snap-chatted, I failed Facebook and I just don't see the value. I love Hockey and nature shows and that's about all. I listen to NPR public radio and enjoy the podcasts. I guess I'm a bit of a snob. But for about 10 years now I have become sensitized to violence and ugly stuff, I have to leave the room if there is going to be violence. Audio-books are how I control what i going into my mind and I like this very much. I have close to 1000 books in my account so I am serious about audio-books.
I had never heard of Mr. Hart before listening to this book, guess he's a big star and I'm glad to have finally enjoyed his work.

I'm so so glad I have found this wonderful book. Tears are running down my cheeks since the opening words. I'm changed from who I was before starting this book. I'm a better person and a better American. I have voted in every election since reaching voting age (40 years ago). I remember when Tricky Dick won the presidential election by a landslide. This is 100 times worse. The next presidential election cannot come soon enough for me. I hope the country survives the idiot in The White House. Thanks for a great book, Mrs. Hillary Clinton.
