As a Christian and a Lesbian this book hit home. The moments when the main characters are questioning why God made them this way if it is wrong, were so on point. I remember being a young closeted girl screaming and crying on my bedroom floor praying for God to take away these feelings if they were against His will. I hope this book reaches other young women who are struggling and helps them to realize God made them perfectly.

I have listened to all the books in this series and this one was by far the worst narrated one. I couldn’t wait for the book to be over so I wouldn’t have to listen anymore. The storyline was good.

Tessa Wilson's life is all over the map. She may be clumsy, but this time she's stumbled into a pickle by choice, not by accident. She's agreed to take a month-long trip around Texas jammed into a '59 Cadillac with a drama-loving teenager, two elderly spitfires, and - oh, yes - her biological mama who gave her away at birth. And the ride gets even crazier when hot-as-sin cowboy Branch Thomas crosses into her lane. They don't call him the sexiest man in the Lone Star State for nothin'.
