The narrator made the male characters sounds like they were special needs individuals. I kept wondering if they were supposed to be adult charters or what. I was so far thrown off that I forwarded through the book. I thought maybe I would get lucky
With this book, but it's as bad as the others. I won't try to listen to anymore of this authors books.

This narrator made the characters sound way older than they were. she made one male character sound like a woman, one woman character sounded like Elmer Fudd. Made me not enjoy the book. Also, this author seems to have a pattern in her books where the love interest always seems to go over board with something simple and pure the relationship in jeopardy.
Hope her other books are better.

An unlikely state of affairs. For Navy SEAL Lucky O'Donlon was the original love-'em-and-leave-'em guy. Used to women swooning at his feet. So how could it be that the frustratingly attractive journalist Sydney Jameson had nothing to offer him but one very cold shoulder? Well, two could play at this game. But first things first - he and Sydney had a job to do. They had to get their man. Then there would be time enough for him to get his woman.

Could not wait for this one to end. Am debating on going to the next one, because apparently all the SEALS in ALL of her books are weak and fall for the woman within days of knowing them.
