I love this series and this book did not disappoint. The author has created a fantastic world with a fight for the balance of good and evil. Each book is about the reunion of one of the six vampires that reunite with the one person who sacrifices themselves to save their love one. This is just a step to create the 13 that will bring down the evil. This was Duchess's story. Even though she tried not to be with her soulmate because she felt she had betrayed him, they eventually realize they both had issues and finally unite. I can't wait till next book. If you have not read these, you are missing a wonderful series. The narrator does a fantastic job. She brings the characters to life.
