Priscilla Pratt is 377 years old, give or take a decade. She’s the best baker in Bellmare, Massachusetts, and just wants to continue to lead a quiet life in the quaint and haunted tourist destination. Not even an elaborate, last-minute wedding cake commission - a multi-tiered fondant replica of Dracula’s castle - could be a stake in her side. But when the bride turns up dead hours before the wedding, Priscilla and her pastries are the first to be suspected. Priscilla will have to get to the bottom of this murder, or her business and reputation will be six feet under.

Private investigator Wyatt West finds his job a little tedious most days, but that changes when he meets a bewitching blonde florist who needs a favor in the way of a wedding date. There's definitely something magical about her, but little does he know just how correct that first impression is. Single mom Marigold Williams finds herself instantly attracted to Wyatt but doesn't dare tell this handsome human that she's a witch and things in Nocturne Falls are a little spookier than he suspects. He’s just a nice guy who’s offered to be her plus one.

I just love this series and this book did not let me down. Finally we got to find out what happen to Stanislav. He was buried for over two years in a basement of an abandoned house. Finally someone decides to buy the house who happens to be telepathic. She and her dog find him, however, he has no memory of who he is or where he is from.

This book gets a little emotional when finally he is reunited with his family with Suzanne's help and gets his memories back.

I love the part where he gets to speak to Yuri. I am glad he had someone like Suzanne to help him.

I can't wait till the next book comes out. Can't get enough.

He is a warlock for hire running from his past. Now his past has found him and is causing him trouble. This is the first book i have read in this series, Even though it is book 2 i had no problem following the story. I do want to read/listen to more in this series. The narrator was fantastic.
