Boring and recidulous...
Would you try another book from Kris Radish and/or Linda Stevens?
No, this was written for non-intellects... what a boring fantasy... we read it for our book club and I had an awful time finishing the book because it was very pretendy... Too much fluff...
What do you think your next listen will be?
A Town Like AliceThe Secret Piano
What does Linda Stevens bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Sauce... I don't want to discount her too much because she didn't have much to work with...
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
I had heard that it was a good book and would bring out your emotions. I was sadly disappointed... It brought out exasperation. Of the 11 women in my club, 9 were exasperated and tired from listening/reading it.
