The second Death Star has been destroyed, the emperor killed, and Darth Vader struck down. Devastating blows against the Empire and major victories for the Rebel Alliance. But the battle for freedom is far from over. As the Empire reels from its critical defeats at the Battle of Endor, the Rebel Alliance - now a fledgling New Republic - presses its advantage by hunting down the enemy's scattered forces before they can regroup and retaliate. Chuck Wendig did a wonderful job depicting a galaxy in chaos after The Battle of Endor. It was never something I thought about at the end of Return of the Jedi, I thought everyone was happy the Empire was defeated. I never took into account Imperial loyalists may still be out there or Imperial troops and officers stationed elsewhere that would resist the New Republic. I thought the story was beautifully written and I appreciate the character diversity throughout the book. I can't wait to read the second book in the series.

This book is written in an older dialect, but I think that is part of it's charm. This book is a beautiful story about falling in love. Now that I've finished it, I keep thinking about it. The characters really come to life through the story and stay with you.

At once wildly original and stuffed with irresistible nostalgia, Ready Player One is a spectacularly genre-busting, ambitious, and charming debut—part quest novel, part love story, and part virtual space opera set in a universe where spell-slinging mages battle giant Japanese robots, entire planets are inspired by Blade Runner, and flying DeLoreans achieve light speed.

This book was very funny and very personal and very well read. All of the different voices made it interesting and the fact that they went off script and just had conversations made me feel like I got free, really funny bonus material with the audio book. I highly recommend this audio book.
