I really appreciate it this course and I feel as if I got to sit in on a class directly in UCSF. Thank you so much for producing this and making it available on audible. There were so many suggestions of where to find documents and other related materials, the academic research component to the materials presented was thorough and respectable, the evidence based focus, and the overall integrity of the program was solid. Thank you so much.

Personally I’m a little saturated with material of this content lately, but as far as it goes it is an extremely pleasant listen. Both the narrators are easy to listen to you and peace well. There are meditations sprinkled throughout the book which is just one more reason why it would be great if audible would have chapters that would align with the content and also tables of contents so we could return to the useful parts. Really appreciated the medical perspective woven into the mindfulness pieces, that kept this book above the fray of mindfulness productions recently.

It's been a while since I let myself indulge in a good piece of fiction and this was an extremely good experience.

The fictional capacity to provide a hearty suspension of disbelief and artistic choices of the author are just wonderful. Truly an award winning novel, and it becomes apparent pretty quickly as to why. The author has a wonderful poetic voice and yet also very down to earth storytelling. I enjoyed feeling like I got quite an education about elephants and animal behavior and also so many other topics. It seemed like quite a bit of good research went into a good deal of the writing which made it intellectually more satisfying. I really enjoyed the different voices of the readers and did not find them distracting at all. Slowing it down to stay at the normal pace of speaking made it even more pleasant and for 16 wonderful hours I traveled to another time and place. With a wonderful series of surprises as the mystery progressed as well. Thanks so much for this book Jodi and for the wonderful reading of it, audible!

This book is very helpful for me and my clients in developing clearer communications and becoming more direct. But strangely both from the title and the tone throughout the book, it feels as if one is reading something that is intended to secretly trick people into doing things. After reading the book I don't think that's really what is being asserted at all. There's very good sections on how to make a sincere apology, how to train a team that works for you, how to work through relationship issues. A lot of them were very helpful, despite a sort of slimy angle that the intention is to make people behave differently than they normally would.

A perspective rich and full of contemplation, this book points to the sacredness of simplicity while teching us gently how to love each other and ourselves more fully. It came at a good time in my life, and I'd wish that for anyone who finds it. Moore presents a literate and psychologically developed thesis. I do wish though, above all, that there was an unabridged version. The abridged oversimplifies some parts which are so much betterin their original completeness. I picked up the text recently and am finding so much more in the depths of the print version. The audio on this was easy to listen to, engaging nad never got annoying or patronizing.
