Here my honest review... the storyline is mediocre, I found it none original but gave me some laughs. The narration was not bad. I l prefer duets in narration on romance books. I probably won’t listen to the next one. Thank you for sharing this book with me.

This novel actually swept me by surprise. With the cover I thought it would be similar to those cheesy erotica storylines... I actually somehow can closely relate to the leading lady being a single mom raising her children alone, one with special needs too. I particularly liked that the voices of the male and female lead characters intertwined on some takes. It’s usually one or the other. The good narration and acting made me visualize the whole story better; they were so entertaining. Thanks so much for sharing this one with me.

The first time I met Chase Parker, I didn't exactly make a good impression. I was hiding in the bathroom hallway of a restaurant, leaving a message for my best friend to save me from my awful date. He overheard and told me I was a bitch, then proceeded to offer me some dating advice. So I told him to mind his own damn business and went back to my miserable date. I couldn't help but sneak hidden glances at the condescending jerk on the other side of the room. Of course, he caught me on more than one occasion, and winked.

I have another 2-3 hours into finishing but I couldn’t bear anymore of it. The monotonous narration was boring, couldn’t decipher between the male and female character unless the name was mentioned. It was hard for me to connect with the characters. I tried to like it but the storyline just dragged on. The plot was average and predictable. A little bit of erotica would’ve made it more interesting.

It was a boring plot, and story line didn’t seem original. I felt like it’s a crossover between Constantine and Twilight Saga. The narrator was exceptional on her performance but the whole story just dragged on the love triangle story between a girl, a vampire, and an angel descendant/vampire hunter. I just couldn’t bear finishing the book although I really tried to like it.
