If you can get past the first few chapters, the book gets much better. I struggled at the start but eventually, you'll find yourself caught up in a very interesting story that I'm very happy I stayed with. The first few chapters where a little rough but I promise, you'll be happy if you see it through to the end. I think it was about chapter 7 or 8 that I was like oh wow.

The narrator makes it hard to enjoy the story. When speaking as Talia she has a very high pitch voice that sounds like a 10-year-old whiny child. I found it impossible to get into the story when all I could do was think about wanting to stab the main character just to shut her up.

Please do yourself a favor and skip this book. Trust me when I say, absolutely doing you a huge favor if I convince you not to listen to this one.

Great story and well produced. I think going up everyone wants a twin sister for the very reason that took place in this story so that when you don't want to go to work, you can send your identical twin. Come on, admit it. You know it's true! Of course, the very reason you shouldn't play the twin switch-a-rue game is the very thing that happened in this book. I don't want to give in spoilers but let's just say it's a highly enjoyable listen that I recommend for all contemporary romance fans.

The voice actors also did an amazing job and Jason Clarke, in particular, sounded too sexy for words! He really brought Jennings to life!

Several times at the end of a chapter it will go silent and you'll have to stop what you are doing and see if your player turned itself off for some reason. Turns out it just a case of really bad editing. There is a good minute or two of silence at the end of a few chapters. At the end of one chapter, it was going on nearly 2 full minutes of dead air.

As far as the story itself, I guess it's okay. I wasn't the worst story I ever read or the best. A few cringy moments but overall worth it if you can catch it on sale. Not worth paying full price though.

I've been a fan of this series from day one and 7 books later, I'm still enjoying the series. This is the story of Gwen. You probably remember her from the last book. She had a brief fling with Mac but obviously, things didn't work out between them. Mac's best friend Dom has had the hots for Gwen but when she hooked up with Mac, well what could he do? She was off limits. Oh did I mention Mac's best friend Dom lives next door to Gwen too? I'll just say, after a complicated mess the couple gets together and lives happily ever after.

This is the first book in the Butler, Vermont series, however, it's actually a continuation of the Green Mountain series which I think about 6 books in. I guess due to some publisher changes or whatever the book had to change series names but it's really one in the same. Same town, same people, and a new couple in love.

This time the story deals with Grayson Coleman, he's one of the Abbott cousins and he has 7 younger siblings so we can no doubt expect quite a few more books in this series.

The only negative thing I will say is I wasn't a big fan of the narrator. This series has gone through quite a few narrators and, to be honest, I wasn't into this one at all. Maybe the next book will have better luck. Don't get me wrong she wasn't horrible, just couldn't catch my attention. I think just lacks voice acting experience, to be honest. She wasn't really that great at character distinction.

You ever read a book that was so crazy good you had to stop whatever you were doing and read every book in the entire series? That's just this book and this series. This is actually the 3rd book in the Sins Brother series and it didn't miss a beat. This is one of those series where you must read the whole series from start to finish to really understand how great the overall story is. I highly recommend that's exactly what you do!

This is one of those books where you really need to read the entire series to fully get just how great the story of these brothers is. That being said, I highly recommend you stop whatever you are doing right now and read (or listen) to every single book in the Sin Brothers series. There are 4 in all. Start at book 1 though. You really can't skip around on this one. It's like reading one long book broken down into 4 different brothers, by book. I can't speak highly enough about how great this book and the entire series is.

This was a story set in real life that isn't in some crazy paranormal fantasy world where you have to keep up with some sort of fantasy backstory. It's about a girl who grew up in a small town, works as a waitress in a dinner and oh just so happens to have some magical abilities. I think the story was well done and has a few twists and turns that make it even better. If you are looking for a love story with a little bit of magic, I say give this story a try.

While I've enjoyed the entire series up to now, this book fell a little short in my opinion. I can't quite put my finger on it, it's just a feeling - like somehow the story felt forced and just wasn't all there for me. Don't get me wrong, it's well written, like the others. It's just the passion and intensity wasn't there between the characters. The whole thing just felt off.
