Not sure what I was expecting when I bought the book except that I'm less than a year into CrossFit and find myself continually searching for more information to be the best athlete I can be. Most of the book is a recap of Rich's experience at the CrossFit Games and what it was like from his perspective.

The stories about his family and his faith turned out to be the real hidden gems.

Does that make me an SP?
This book was a blast to listen to with my wife. We laughed for hours and hours, when our mouths weren't open in utter disbelief. Amazing story from a talented storyteller. This woman is a bad ass.

I was listening just to proof the material before giving it to my son. I wound up listening to the entire thing. Nice to hear the stuff that I already do for my wife, while being reminded of the stuff I used to do and need to kick back in gear, as well as finding a few gems that I can include in my never ending date that is my marriage.

Furthermore, the general advice found in this easy read can be used for all kinds of other relationships from a man's perspective. Bosses, coworkers, friend, family, etc... can all be persuaded with a little planning and preparation. The pay out is different, but the courting process is very similar.

This is a book designed to help a man put his best foot forward, disguised as a book on dating.
