Two twin dragon shapeshifters don't know a whole lot about their family history, and they're not exactly what you'd call "normal people". Their late father always used to call them special, and it's easy to see why. The problem is...there's only one way to pass on their family legacy. They must mate with the same woman, and she, too, must be someone special. Finding a mate that will have them both isn't easy, but they sure have a whole lot of fun looking.

This book was an ok listen. These twin finds themselves in a dilemma after the death of their father and they must now fulfill a centuries old tradition to keep a family legacy they are just becoming aware of. The plot was good I loved the intrigue the book started with I wasn't so sold on the female but this is a very short book so things happened a little more quickly then I would have rather. There is sexual content which was just hot hot hot.

Good book and a great addition to any 18^ library

In this book we are faced with the age old dilemma; boy meets girl, boy likes girl but boy does not want a relationship. Add the heroine daughter, a motorcycle club in choas, heroine placed in multiple dangerous situations and your in for the ride of your life. I love love love the banter that went on between Pax the hero and his brother not to mention this manly man's relationship Bebe the heroine daughter it was so tender and evolution felt natural. There is a bit of violence which didn't affect me some reader may find it offensive but in alot of ways the violence was more funny than gruesome to me.
That being said the female narrator fell short for me I was not a fan of her deliver of this character for some reason and just couldn't get past that.

Good book overall and I would recommend it for your next listen

5 amazing stars for this book. Being a lover of all things romance I have a particular fondness for historical romances and this book delivered. The plot was very original and we'll developed. It can be difficult to find a truly original storyline and Elise Marion found it. This book kept me on the edge of my seat, there is something for everyone; intrigue, wit, comedy, violence, romance, family, honor. Not wanting to give the book away but I will say this, I recommended this book to my mother and 18 year old niece . The Best historical romance I've read all year and I go through a book each day so I don't say this likely.

Lexi tells about growing up with very restrictive parents and very little supervision. Follow along as she tells in this semi-autobigraphical novel about first becoming a nudist, then an exhibitionist, along with her best friend Trish. Listen about their personal involvement with each other and also their adventures as they spy on her brother and girlfriend and learn what turns them on. Then follow the action on a holiday cruise as they wear very little during part of their voyage - sometimes only body paint.

This book may be a light read but it packs a bunch. It offers a unique insight of the main Lexi's evolution of becoming an exhibitionist and also the relationship between her and her best friend. Very entertaining and covers from childhood to young adulthood. That being said because it does cover so many years the chapters were a little rushed and no real character development which left the book lacking for me. However it's an okay book for an light read.

What would have made Eve of Darkness better?

can't finish, found it slow boring and a waste of my time and credit. I got it because i loved the author and narrator so thought it would be a winner. disappointing at best, may get better but i'll never know my ears can't take any more.
