Would you listen to Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever again? Why?

It was fun to hear the story on my iPod. I could do other things and hear my story too.

What other book might you compare Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever to and why?

I read and saw the Wimpy Kid movie, so I already knew about it.

Where does The Copper Bracelet rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

High, no doubt. The subtle change in the feel of the story as the authors change is wonderful.

What other book might you compare The Copper Bracelet to and why?

Nothing I've heard or read to date.

Have you listened to any of Alfred Molina’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

He is a marvel. His "females" are done expertly. Not easily accomplished without becoming silly or absurd, he's a master narrator.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Same as my headline "Just when you knew..YOU DIDN'T"

Any additional comments?

Couldn't help wonder how much the authors deliberately and in good humor took their sections totally off in another direction of the previous one just for the hell of it LOL, it all worked beautifully.

What disappointed you about Death of a Prankster?

The main character kept being attended to by every handsome man in the book. This happened to the point of silly.

What could M. C. Beaton have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

The main character came across as a sexually active virgin at the age of 24. Goody two shoes to the point of spineless. There was so much potential for this to be thoroughly entertaining but it kept insisting on failure. Found myself actually yelling at the audio "you've got to be kidding me!".

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

The narrator did her job with what she had. She had to have had a difficult time getting into characters that just didn't seem real enough to become absorbing.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

No. As a fan of M.C. Beaton, I found this book surprisingly disappointing.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

As you listen, you are unaware how enthralled you are until you have to stop to do something else.

What other book might you compare The Beautiful Mystery to and why?

Wouldn't compare this work to any other, it's unique in style and pace.

What about Ralph Cosham’s performance did you like?

Absolutely loved Mr. Cosham's performance, may have picked up some french due to him.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The last few chapters were remarkable. Just when you think you've got it all worked out, you're wrong. The ending is powerful and unexpected, that's all I'll say about it.

Any additional comments?

Looking forward to seeing her work transformed to the screen, especially with Nathaniel Parker selected to star.
