New York City in 1978 is a dirty, dangerous place to live - and die. Joey Peacock knows this as well as anybody - he has spent the last forty years as an adolescent vampire, perfecting the routine he now enjoys: womanizing in punk clubs and discotheques, feeding by night, and sleeping by day with others of his kind in the macabre labyrinth under the city's sidewalks.

I feel like I’ve been on some dazed and confused, crazy seventies hippie vampire wild ride! Such description and vivid imagery. I mean this book is weird, and in that weirdness is absolute greatness. You will love this book and it’s definitely worth the credit. I will be reading this mans other books. Lol I’m pretty sure all of them. And wow he narrates this his this his self. I’ve only ever heard one other author narrate is own work and it be decent. This guy knocks it out of the park. R.C Bray, Luke Daniels, Sean Runnette, or Ray Porter could not have done it better.

Former Marine Captain Alexander Hale only wanted a weekend out with some old buddies. He could have done without the gang war, the shootout, and...oh yeah, the alien abduction. Now he's in the middle of something he doesn't understand, never asked for, and is having quite possibly the greatest time of his life. Semper Fi and which way are the shores of Tripoli anyway?

I’ve never once out of 315 books left a negative review. I respect any author who’s willing to try. If I don’t immediately like a book I will save it and come back later, to see if it will grab my attention. Often that is the case, even if a book is bad I can usually finish it. I tried three times to listen to this book. It was just plain terrible, I didn’t know who any character was, much less care what happens to any of them. I returned this book, that’s a first from me. I’m sorry if you read this Evan I really am. I congratulate you for
publishing and wish you the best. I just could not get into this book at all.

This hands down was the absolute best book I’ve ever listened to. I have over 300 books in my library, of all genres. Never in a million years would I think I’d be saying this about a romance book. This is so much more than that. If you are reading this I’m sure you’ve read the first two in the series. Yet if you’re thinking for one second of not getting this book. You’re missing out on greatness. If all the rest are a quarter as good as this l, I’m in for a real treat.

I really don’t know what made me give this book a chance. I have never read romance, but this book is so much more than that. It’s one of the best vampire books I’ve had the pleasure of listening to. I could have done without all the sex scenes but they are few and far in between great story, great narration, and in depth characters. Anyways if sex scenes are what you’re into then I’m sure you’ll like them. Give this book a chance it’s definitely worth the credit. Oh you can try out the romance package, I did and I paid like 7 bucks and I got the first 6 in this series for free. Can I get a boo yah wicky wicky Fook yeah!!

It does end with a cliff hanger, but I will definitely be buying the next in the series. I recommend Renegades it is well worth the credit.

I never read any of the reviews for this book! So despite what they say, I loved it. I’ve listened to 200 plus books while driving. This one ranks in my top ten. It’s an out there, fun, funny, entertaining read. I also recommend checking out the tamer series. It’s a little crazy and has a ton of sex scenes in it. But it’s also an alien captures a guy and carries him away fun read. I really hope Luke Daniels narrates the next death ship book. I believe Luke, RC Bray, Ray porter, and Kevin Pearce are the best Narrators in the business. I recommend checking out their other work also. Don’t be an Asshole like Jay!

I read a few bad reviews of this book. I am seriously glad I didn’t listen to them. This book totally immersed me into the world of the story. I had to travel around all day and somehow finished this book through out it. I absolutely loved it, I don’t think it will be for everyone. If you’re a fan of sci-fi and want a futuristic, colorful , engaging story. Well you should definitely give this book a chance. R.C Bray will never let you down. I’m sure I don’t have to tell too many audible listener this. But if you’ve never heard him narrate, well you’re in for a real treat.
