Have my baby. That was what my single-dad best friend, Seth, said to me while I was waitressing at the diner. His little girl wants a sibling. But Seth is a workaholic millionaire and doesn't have time to meet someone. Someone who won't screw him over, like his kid's mother. Only problem is this someone has secretly been in love with him since high school. I've been hiding it forever, not wanting to risk our friendship.

As always, Wen and Kai brought this story to life! I especially loved how Kai portrayed Laurie. She did such a fantastic job, if I didn't know better, I would believe they hired a child to play the part. I love listening to Kai and Wen narrate different characters. It always seems like more than just two narrators, which is amazing to me.
Now to the story. I wasn't sure if I was going to like the story, but wanted to give it a try. I'm sure glad I did! This story was heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. It was hilarious and frustratingly annoying. This book had me glaring at my car stereo more than a few times. I loved Ally, but was annoyed with her quite often. The same with Seth. I couldn't decide if I wanted to hug them or smack them most of the story. I think that's why I enjoyed this book so much. It kept me on my toes. I freaking loved Sage. I can't wait to listen to her book! I found myself smiling every time Laurie was talking. Not only because she said the cutest things, but because Kai did such a fantastic job narrating Laurie's parts.
Overall, I was really impressed with this book. I'm glad I chose to give it a chance and am going to listen to Book 2 in the series as soon as I have another credit!

I thought this book was twisted when I read it. Listening to it was even crazier. There is so much craziness in this book, I don't even know how to adequately explain it. Wen and Kai did a fantastic job narrating this twisted story. They made the crazy sound normal, lol. I don't know how they do, but Kai and Wen can take any crazy, twisted story and make it that much more crazy and twisted.

This is an amazing book made all the better by outstanding narrators.
I freaking love Phe!!! She is fantastic! Snarky, strong-willed, stubborn, funny, and she loves pink!! If I was barely 5 feet and could be blown away by a strong gust of wind(which I'm not), then Phe would be me written into a book!
I love Nico, but I really wanted to smack him upside the head quite a few times. He drove me so crazy!!! But Phe was exactly what he needed. He just needs to open his eyes! And yes, I yelled that quite a few times throughout the book.
And we can't forget about Gio, Josh and Derrick, (or Big D, as Josh calls him). Fantastic secondary characters.
The way that Kai and Wen bring this story and these characters to life is absolutely amazing. I was so annoyed when I had to go to work because that meant I had too stop listening to Kai and Wen. I'm so glad they narrated this story.

This is an amazing continuation of the Tempest series. As always, Wen and Kai did a fantastic job narrating this story. I love how their voices bring so much feeling to the story. They really know how to bring a story to life.
I'm so glad that War finally got his own story. I loved being able to see inside his thoughts. Finally knowing why he does the things he does. Then in comes Shaina. I really liked Shaina. I really felt for her and what she went through. At the same time, I disliked quite a bit of her actions. Sometimes her sticky sweetness really got on my nerves. I was so happy when she started living for herself. Did she make some really stupid decisions? Of course she did! But that's what made her so real. She was exactly what Warren needed in his life. Even if he was too stupid to realize it.
I was so happy to see Lace, Bryan, Dizzy and the rest of the gang! It's always nice to catch up with them. I'm looking forward to listening to Dizzy's story next.

Where does Enticing Interlude rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Top 5, without a doubt. It's an amazing book, and the narrators just make it that much more amazing

What other book might you compare Enticing Interlude to and why?

I don't know that I would compare it to any other book. Every book is different. The good, bad and ugly of a book is that way for a reason. What makes one book a good book will not necessarily make another book good. It all depends on the story and the quality of writing.

Have you listened to any of Wen Ross’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes I have. I love Wen Ross's voice! Wen Ross has mad ninja skills in the voice department!! I've yet to listen to book narrated by Wen Ross that I didn't enjoy

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Can two people overcome their past mistakes to find true love and happiness with each other? Or, will their pasts drag them down and keep them apart forever?

Too cheesy? Haha, I never claimed to be any good at tag lines. Does that even count as a tag line?

Any additional comments?

This is a great story. I'm really loving this series. I can't wait to listen to the next book. Also, Carter has to be one of the cutest kids ever written! I love him! Champ was the perfect nickname for him

Two years ago, everything changed for the remaining members of the Seattle rock band Tempest. Two years is a long time. Too long to keep on remembering. Not nearly long enough to forget. In trouble with nowhere else to go, songstress Lace Lowell seeks refuge with the band during their stop in New York City. It's a risky move for her because they are both there, two impossibly good looking men whose lives are inseparably entwined with hers.

What made the experience of listening to Irresistible Refrain the most enjoyable?

First off, the narrators. They're amazing. Also, the music! I've never listened to an audio book with music in it. That just added something extra special to the story.

What did you like best about this story?

Other than the narrators and the overall story, I would have to say the realness of it. It was just honest, everything good, bad and in between. It felt real.

Which character – as performed by Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross – was your favorite?

Brian was my favorite character. I'm not going to lie, Lace kind of annoyed me for quite a bit of the book.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

After Lace had overdosed and she was remembering the day she visited the cemetery. I'm not sure why, but that scene really got to me.

Any additional comments?

I felt so much while listening to this book. The author really knows how to draw you in and keep you invested. The writing is excellent. I can't say enough good things about the narrators. The only thing that I think could have made this a better listening experience would have been if the narrators actually sang the part that were songs. That would have been amazing.

If you could sum up Sacrifice in three words, what would they be?

Heartbreaking, beautiful, hopeful

What other book might you compare Sacrifice to and why?

I don't generally compare books to each other, unless they are in a series or by the same author. I think all authors have something different to give

Which scene was your favorite?

I think my favorite scene was probably when Ever was explaining to Crew and Julia why Crew was her daddy. Her innocence was so adorable.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Crew and Ever shaved their heads together. I was driving down the highway crying (I listen to audiobooks while driving)

Any additional comments?

These narrators did a fantastic job! I love how they conveyed so much emotion in their narration.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes I would recommend this audiobook to a friend. It's such an amazing story. Erin deWard did an amazing job narrating this story. It's my first time listening to her narrate, but I will definitely be looking for more books narrated by her.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Sierra is my favorite. Don't get me wrong, I love Carly too. But just the way Sierra carries herself. I love her no nonsense attitude. I love how she embraces herself, and doesn't care what anyone else thinks.

Which character – as performed by Erin deWard – was your favorite?

I think Erin deWard did a great job narrating all the different characters. I don't think I have a favorite. I liked them all for different reasons. Listening to her narrate Annie had me laughing so much. It was hilarious. When she narrated Carly, it was more on the serious side and Sierra was just fun! So, no favorite for me (at this time)

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I love how Sierra is always so supportive of Carly. She is a true best friend. Even when Carly was being down on herself, Sierra was always their to support her and try to lift her spirits.
