Great story, great characters, great narrator. Just discovered this author but I’m a long time fan of Michael Jayston, the narrator from his work on John LeCarre audiobooks.

A marvelous and tragic story of how the US stumbled into Vietnam. So many squandered opportunities to avoid the quagmire and so much dissembling and dishonesty on the part of the government.

Would you listen to The Quick Red Fox again? Why?

No. Kept me entertained, but not archival by any means.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes. Several nice twists and surprises.

What about Robert Petkoff’s performance did you like?

His voicing of Travis McGee. His female voices are not so good

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Travis McGee--A romantic in a cynical shell.

Any additional comments?

I'm delighted that Travis McGee is on Audible. The books are entertaining and still have some excellent writing, although some philosophy found here is not PC.
