When the lights go out at a Georgia high school football game, senior Macy Atwood finds herself in the arms of a boy who kisses her senseless - but he's gone by the time the lights come back on. All she knows is that there was something special - and oddly familiar - about her mystery kisser. Noah Granger, Ridgedale's resident bad boy and newest transfer student, has no problem taking credit for the kiss, but Macy can't shake the feeling that he's lying. Especially since a photograph of Macy and former star football player Joel Hargrove resurfaced online moments before the blackout.

Understudies never get to perform...which is why being Juliet's understudy in the school's yearly Shakespeare production is the perfect role for Emily. She can earn some much-needed extra credit while pursuing her main goal of spending time with Wes, aka Romeo, aka the hottest, nicest guy in school (in her completely unbiased opinion). Then Amanda ends up in the hospital, and Emily, as the (completely unprepared!) understudy, has to star in the most famous scene from Romeo and Juliet opposite the guy of her dreams. Oops?

I really love how Shani Petroff finds a unique voice for her characters .. the story itself is pretty basic and barely any drama happens but it was a fun ride
it's all about Emily who's been crushing on Wes and her attempts to get his attention .. her friends Jill and Kala are goals and I just love those two
it was a nice light read and I enjoyed it
Shani Petroff's narration is always on point and I love how she narrates her own books .. it was a nice cute read overall

Welcome to the cursed town of Sparrow...where, two centuries ago, three sisters were sentenced to death for witchery. Stones were tied to their ankles, and they were drowned in the deep waters surrounding the town. Now, for a brief time each summer, the sisters return, stealing the bodies of three weak-hearted girls so that they may seek their revenge, luring boys into the harbor and pulling them under.

Well that was really depressing
The concept of the story was nice and interesting, the plot was really good and engaging and I wanted to know what will happen .. but towards the end I don't know why I began to lose interest .. I mean, there was a decent plot twist but maybe the ending was the most depressing thing to me .. so yeah .. it was nice .. but not very much
The narration wasn't great .. she was so monotone ans barely talking that I felt sleepy most of the book .. I wish if it was a different narrator

Ok, so I enjoyed this book way more than her first book ( When Dimple Met Rishi ) although I did have a problem with Twinkle but the story itself seems like it came out straight from a Bollywood movie, there were some scenes that made me smile and Sahil's personality is very good and I liked him way more than Twinkle, the book although explores the issue of friendships and being compared to other people and not appreciating your full talent .. it was a nice cute book with a lot of fluff and not much drama

The narration was nice and average .. she did have a whiney voice at some point but she was fine .. and the male narrator was also good, nothing much to say

So it's no secret that this book was my most anticipated book of the entire year and the moment it came out I couldn't wait until I began to read it .. Caraval is returning with a setting more glamorous than the last Caraval and stakes are even higher, there are the Fates who are trying to reclaim their powers to rule the world once more and Tella who is playing the game to save her mother but got stuck in that vicious web and this cruel game
The world of this Caraval is bigger and wider and I enjoyed being there .. but the story .. not so much, Tella as reckless as she is is not fun at all .. she just don't think at all that I was so frustrated with her through the story, and I didn't like Dante at all and I was so bumped that he was the " main love interest " in the story
The ending was such a random mess and I was so shocked that this was where we will leave this world until the next book
I wish if the story was better than this because Caraval was amazing .. I just hope the story will redeem itself in the third book

As expected from my favorite narrator Rebecca Soler she was amazing and I was really glad they picked her for this series she was one of the great things about this book

Talking to other people isn't Kate Bailey's favorite activity. She'd much rather be out on the lake, soaking up the solitude and sunshine. So when her best friend, Alana, convinces Kate to join their high school's podcast, Kate is not expecting to be chosen as the host. Now she'll have to answer calls and give advice on the air? Impossible. Then the podcast gets a call from an anonymous guy, asking for advice about his unnamed crush. Kate is pretty sure that the caller is gorgeous Diego Martinez, and even surer that the girl in question is Alana.

I was so excited when I heard about a new book by Shani Petroff .. her stories are simple and almost drama free, this book is no different, it's about a messed up situation where Sira is stuck in a road trip with her cheating ex .. but I was really bored when we reached the half point and nothing was actually happening .. Sira is so annoying and judgmental to no end and I really didn't connect with her at all .. the story could've been better if the ending was different
but overall it was kind of a disappointing read for me

As for the narration I just like how Miss Shani Petroff narrated her books, it gives a life to the characters and she kept me engaged to the story until the end

I REALLY wanted to like the this book, The beginning was mind blowing and I was really interested in what will happen .. but as the story progressed flaws floated to the surface .. the plot was simply stupid and everything was moving way faster than your average Bollywood movie, I did like the Shahrukh khan dreams but the story was just boring nothing in it appealed to me
but I will make sure to check out the movies mentioned that I still haven't watched :)

The narration was really bad, I even would suggest you read it in a physical form because this performance was bad, it felt like a robot .. it lacked emotions and no voice ranges

The narration was mesmerizing and I really loved it .. each one of them did a great job to capture the voice of their characters, one of the best performances I listened to in a while
