I've been sold by my own father to a beast. Gleb Sokolov is the definition of a savage. He’s an animal in bed and everywhere else. A ruthless Russian Mafia boss, badass personified. And my father just sold me to him to pay off a debt. But there’s something Gleb doesn’t know, and I’ll do anything to keep him from finding out.

I think Hugo Wylde did a great job narrating Gleb's character and giving him some depth. I think the Russian accent was done well and created for an interesting character to listen to. Kinsey Cass did an okay job with Eva although I found the mix between accent and no accent to be a little frustrating when listening.

As for the story: east was a great read and I found it went too quickly. I feel the author did a great job developing the story and the characters and had the perfect blend of mob dynamics, feels and heat. Eva was sold to Gleb by her father after having met him previously. I enjoyed reading about their chemistry and reading how grown up Eva became when thrust into this situation.

When going to war, there are three very simple rules one must abide by: know thy enemy, be prepared to sacrifice, and always wear good shoes. After all, revenge is a dish best served in stilettos. I've got an eye for it, and nothing's going to stand in my way. Not even Rory "The Saint" Brodrick.

Oh my heart after this listen. Tracy Marks did such an amazing job narrating this book and really giving the characters such great depth and dimension. I absolutely loved her accent while reading them and felt she brought out the gruffness of the two characters but still had something soft about them to where they were easy to relate to and empathize with.

And the story.... A Zavarelli has written another masterpiece. I absolutely love the broken characters coming together. Rory was just the most perfect character I love being the tough guy with a super soft spot for his girl. Scarlett was a complete spitfire and her background just broke my heart The two of them together are the perfect balance. The story line had a great flow and kept my attention completely and had my longing to know what was going to happen next.

Truly a great read./listen

Maggie's mind is reeling when she discovers the guy she became tangled up with at Marv's Bait & Tackle isn't a stranger like she thought. The big snag: Sam and Maggie's chemistry is hot enough to melt ice, which makes keeping their secret far more difficult than either expected. Especially when one of them decides they want this arrangement to be more than just a catch and release.

I absolutely loved this listen and am ready to go back and relisten to this story. I think the narrators did such a fantastic job giving these characters life and I truly felt like I was a fly on the wall to conversations in so many parts of this story and not just listening to a story. They did an amazing job capturing my mind completely. I loved the personalities of the characters through their voices and found them so easy to listen to.

And the story line... what a fabulous story! I have loved seeing the posts from the author about her visits to the tire store and how she in real life she was writing there. To incorporate that into the story line of the characters was absolutely classic. I loved Sam's character, the gruff perma-bachelor mixed with the crazy of Maggy. Their love story was perfectly written and such a true romance with her crazy of happily ever after fairy tale brought in. I found myself laughing out loud at so many points and found my heart so light and full after reading this. The terrible fishing puns and jokes were the clincher for me.

This is a must read/listen for anyone and everyone.

I belonged to you the moment you told my mama you were waiting for me when I was still inside her stomach. I belonged to you as we grew up sharing a tree house, a yard, and the lake. I even belonged to you when our three-year age difference tried to pull us apart rather than put us together. But I was most especially yours when you kissed me and told me you weren't letting me go.

I don't even know where to begin with this review. I think Sarah did an amazing job narrating this story and bringing so much life and depth to these characters I was part of their story. She made the transition between the characters so easy to listen to and such a pleasure to listen to.

This story -- WOW!!!! These characters and their story were so well written. I knew my heart was about to be ripped apart and every chapter I stated had me wondering if this was it. Truly this story is one of the most beautiful love stories and while for sure it ripped out my heart and left me ugly crying LJ Evans found a way to put me back together. I found the author did an amazing job providing the back story and just the flow of the story was the right way to be done. She hooks you in and just won't let you go. This was my first book by this author and I am so excited to read more.

I am absolutely in love with this book (and book one too). The feels between Maximoff and Farrow are relationship goals 101. I like the tension how they need to hide their relationship but still make the time for each other and through little things which mean the most. This book had the feels, some suspense through the stalker and such a great family dynamic.

I think the narrators did a great job reading this and bringing such depth to these characters that had me smiling and feeling everything straight to my heart. and smirking.

I have a secret. A secret that chased me away from my home, my family, away from the only man I've ever loved. I took that secret and pushed it down inside of me.So far down, that it never had a chance of coming out. That dirty little secret was like a seed. A seed that took root and grew to become a piece of me. But what happens when that secret has finally outgrown me? When its vines climb over every wall I have in place? When it finally overfills that little spot inside of me that it's been buried in for so long now? All secrets come out eventually.

KB ANdrews did a brilliant job in writing this story. This had everything in it from love and all the family secrets which keeps you on your toes so you really aren't sure what is about to happen. Of course I fell in love with Striker, the kid from the wrong side of the tracks who is an absolute gem and genuine. Lex is a girl struggling with who she really is and who her mom wants her to be. The secrets that are hidden over the years are perfectly revealed with just a little bite or two here and there and then at the end it all comes out. I found this book incredibly easy to listen to with the narrator doing an excellent job bringing both characters to life.

I think it was a good story and was a pleasant listen (compliments of Tor Thom and Charley Ongel) but I found myself struggling with this listen. The story was good but I found the characters to just not hit the mark for me and at the beginning found myself a little confused trying to keep all the siblings/friends straight. I felt the struggles to be a realistic feel.

The narrators did a great job bringing a voice to characters and kept me listening

Maximoff Hale is a force of nature. A ship unwilling to be steered. Headstrong, resilient, and wholly responsible - the 22-year-old alpha billionaire can handle his unconventional life. Born into one of the most famous families in the country, his celebrity status began at birth. He is certified American royalty. When he's assigned a new 24/7 bodyguard, he comes face-to-face with the worst case scenario: being attached to the tattooed, MMA-trained, Yale graduate who's known for "going rogue" in the security team - and who fills 1/3 of Maximoff's sexual fantasies.

This was my first listen by these authors and most definitely won't be my last. I found the characters so easy to like and cheer for. The family dynamic was crazy to follow for me at first but once I figured out everyone I was hooked and need more on everyone now Maximoff and Farrow are two incredibly well written alphas in a relationship and trying to figure out their relationship discreetly without drama. I love how the authors wrote the struggles of being a power celebrity family and all the struggles they would seem to go through. And then the dynamics of trying to be in a relationship when life has been a little trying.

The narrators did an incredible job with these characters and I found their reading captured me and had me sitting in my car and hiding my airpods discreetly in my ears way too often so I could listen more.

Picture this - I’m ready to win back the love of my life, and I’m going big this time. We’re talking boom box, sing her name in the rain, let the whole damn neighborhood know I'm good and ready this time around. After all, if you're going to grand gesture the ever-loving hell out of a second chance, you need to pull out all the stops. There’s only one little problem. My college girlfriend isn't the one who shows up when I play my "I'll do anything to win you back" tune. The woman who flings open the second-floor window tells me my ex doesn’t live here anymore.

I think the narrators did a great job with this story and really provided individual personality to the characters. And what can I say -- I love the multiple narrators. As far as the story line it wasn't my favorite. I felt the characters and story line to be a little choppy. I really tried to love this book but it was still a good listen while I was on the treadmill.
