The passion that furtively develops between them - along with Callie's failure to develop physically - leads Callie to suspect that she is not like other girls. I've recommended this to all my friends. It wasn't at all what I expected, but I liked it much more than what I expected. Actually quite funny most of the time and very well read.

This was a fantastic story--it made me want to get in the car to drive (since I only listen to audio books while I'm driving). The story is complex, but if you pay attention, it all makes sense. In fact the degree of complexity shows just how amazing the author is to have conceived such a story. Puzzles, romance, far off lands, you got it. If you liked the Da Vinci code, you will probably like this.

Best-selling author and inspirational speaker Tommy Tenney teams with Mark Andrew Olsen to deliver a mesmerizing tale of historical fiction. Favorably compared to Anita Diamant's The Red Tent for its unexpected plot twists, Hadassah is the fictional account of the Bible's Esther, the Jewish peasant girl who became queen of Persia.

This book was fantastic. The reader was a perfect choice for her voice. This was the perfect book to listen to shortly before getting married and I'm now recommending it to all my girlfriends to read. My only regret is that they don't have the sequel on Audible.
