I wasn't thrilled that the narrator changed from book 1. Otherwise a good book. Takes time to adjust to a new narrator.

I have followed this author for a few years. I have read all of her books and this is one of my favorites. She writes unique stories which do not follow what is typically expected and this is a great example of that. I have read this a couple times and wanted to do another reread and was thrilled when I found it on audible. The characters are interesting and the story is so unique. Transcendence is a great listen or read.

I have read this book in the past and loved it. The audiobook is just as good. This novella is very intense even in a small amount of words. This is a story of understanding, forgiveness, and love. There are themes of abuse and mental illness which make for a somber read but it certainly makes a point.

The story was sweet. A quick read or listen. The female narrator had a very annoying fake chuckle throughout. Otherwise, it was ok. Definitely won't listen to it again. Would read the ebook book though.

The male narrator seemed to switch from talking right close to the mic to far away. I don't know if it was the narrator or the production of it. The female narration was fine.

I really did like this a bit more than the first in the series. This one can stand alone and just overlaps the first as far as characters. There is something this novel doesn't conclude with a different character but no true cliffhanger.

Better than the first but still not thrilled with a weak female lead. I am sure others are ok with that aspect. The Male lead wasn't as mean hearted this time so that was an improvement.

Meh. It was ok. I thought after the prologue it would be great but not really. Rough childhood leads to a nasty marriage for the h. She then inherits all her ex's mother's estate and takes off. She has random hook ups then realizes the man she wants is single. All is pretty perfect until the Hs ex and mother of his child starts calling. The h finds out, he gets pissed at her and assaults her. The h gets mad but takes him back. The hs ex comes back. Blah, blah hea. So like I said not great but ok.

This story was pretty good. The characters were interesting and engaging. The plot flows nicely. The problem is the narration. The female narrator was so choppy and halting in her reading that it was hard to listen to. I generally love audiobooks and can't say I have ever disliked a narrator as I did with this one. I hope the rest of this series is better.

Would you consider the audio edition of Crashed to be better than the print version?

Book 3 of the Driven series is full of all of the emotion you would expect after reading the first 2 books....and at least or maybe even more angst.

This is probably my all time favorite book series. I have read these books numerous times and will continue to do so. I absolutely love the characters (well except Tawny of course). By picking up book 3, we find out what happens after the crash. We still love Colton and Rylee but are amazed at their growth over the series and I think this is very evident in Crashed.

There are two more books after Crashed, one novella with more Colton POV'S and also another story about Colton and Rylee years after Crashed ends. You could stop reading this series after Crashed and would know everything you need.

The audio version of this series is also very well done. It initially took me a bit to get used to Colton's voice since I had eye read the series so many times already. But I loved it all the same. The narrators were able to capture the emotions as I had envisioned.
