I have a history of picking the wrong guy. Gay? Player? Momma's boy? Check, check and check. Now I can't stop fantasizing about one of the customers at the coffee shop I work at between classes. It's just a harmless crush, right? It's not like I ever see this guy outside of the coffee shop. It's not like I'm going to see him while attempting to get birth control at the student clinic. While wearing a paper gown. While sitting on an exam table. Because he's the doctor. Shoot. Me.

Romance is one of my favorite genres, but for some-odd reason, I don't care for the sub-genre of romantic comedy, or at least I thought I did not until I read "Wrong." This book was not what I expected at all. It actually had some depth. Sophie was snarky and adorable, and Luke was serious and driven. And they seemed to give each other balance. However, there were a few things I did not like about this story. Some of the things that came out of Luke's mouth made me cringe. I keep thinking what woman wants to be called any of the hideous names he used?

Nevertheless, I gave him a pass because if we are being honest there are couples who use that particular bedroom talk with each other. It was wonderful to read a book where the guy wanted all of the things out of life that women usually desire. For example, children, a spouse, and career. Furthermore, I love that Sophie was struggling with her own personal demons, which, at times, made her act irrationally. Overall "Wrong" was a good story, and I would love to see it in movie format.

I think this story, "Veins of Magic", is a masterpiece, even though it took me some time to get into it. I believe the real story begins when the main characters, Sorcha and Eamonn reunite, because that is the point at which the reader is able to see different dynamics of their personalities due to certain circumstances. The story becomes more than a retelling of a fantasy, and it feels like everyday life, except that the characters are not human. I felt Sorcha's love, frustration, anger, and mistrust, as well as all of Eamonn's emotions. There is a line of dialogue in the movie "Black Panther" where King T'Chaka tells King T'Challa "You are a good man with a good heart. And it's hard for a good man to be King." This is also Eamonn's struggle. He is a good character, but he allows anger to overshadow every good thing around himself. Most of all this is an excellent story because of the narrator. She did an amazing job of bringing the readers into the mind of each character. The overall effect is incredible. I highly recommend this book, while I realize that it is not everyone's "cup of tea", especially since it does take some time to really get to the essential part of the story. If you persevere however, you will see that your time has been well spent.

When I started listening to this audio book, I did not think I would like it. I could already predict how some of this story would turn out, but there were some things I did not expect, and once I got engrossed in this romance I wanted to see what would happen to Amelia and Quinn. I will say the author did an excellent job of making us readers look forward to the other characters' stories, and the narration was what I as a listener loves to hear. The narrator gave each character their own distinct voices and by doing that she helped to enhance the story. Overall, I would say this book deserves four stars. It was romantic; it has some "ah ha" moments and All The Right Places gave you an escape from reality for a few hours.

I don't think that it is fair for me to give this book less than three stars, because I'm a romance junkie and this book definitely had a romance element to it. However, I did not like that Cade and Cass could not work through their problems. It's a turn-off to me when two adults can't talk and work through their issues. It also bothers me when the author drags out the issues in question, and only decides to resolve it two chapters before the book ends. In addition, while I think it takes a lot of hard work to narrate a book; and I'm sure this narrator works very hard to capture the character's personalities- I don't think he did a great job with the voices. The truth is, if I was not so interested in the story, I may have stopped listening altogether.

Char Brown is overweight and underappreciated. But at least she has a boyfriend and a job she enjoys. Wait, scratch that. He just broke up with her. Over text. And told her to lose weight. Overly self-conscious about herself and a classic introvert, Char isn’t sure what she’s got going for her anymore. But Darryl Drummond sure does, and he’s insistent that she’s worth more than she thinks. The only thing he likes more than wine is Char, and he’s not going to relent until she notices.

I loved everything about Anticipating Temptation. The story, characters and narration were excellent. However, what I loved the most was how Char would share what was on her heart through her writings. The readers were allowed to see a character that had insecurities that she needed to work through, and I believe this made the story relatable. How many of us have been hurt or damaged from things of our past, that we allow to dictate our future?

Now let me tell you a little about the hero, I love his gentle nature and how he wanted to have strong intimate connection with Char that did not involve sex. He wanted her, and I was hoping she would conquer those fears because I did want her miss out her blessing.  Ok, I must mention that narration of the story was perfect, I did not feel like I was listening to an audio book if felt like I was pulled into a movie but without the visual effects. Because of the narration, I would love for this to become a movie. As I was listening, I kept telling myself why have I not heard of the narrator and why have I not read any books by Randi Perrin.

I read the book and when I had a chance to listen to the audiobook I jump at it. The review I wrote for the book applies to the audiobook as well.

This is the review I wrote after I read the book:

Wow! Wow! Wow!

Zena Wynn needs to write another book in this series, or write another Christian fiction book. She has a way of telling a story that is relatable, real and raw. This is the type of writing I look, and long for, in Christian fiction.

Love's Many Challenges is a home-run hit, it had me examining some things in my life and it caused me to pray. I would recommend this series to single and married Christians, it will bless your life.

Zena Wynn, I need another book in this series. I need to know how things turn out with Nina's son, what kind of challenges the new baby will bring, and how they overcome them.

The only thing I would add is something about the narration. The narrator was good but there were times I did not feel as if Nina was talking to Roberto, at times it seemed as if the things she said to Roberto was only thoughts in her head when she was actually talking to him. At least, that is how the narration came across, but it did not take away from the story. Overall Love's Many Challenges is a five star story and four stars for the narration.

This book! Oh, my goodness! This book gives life to an avid reader like me. It's like the water we need for our bodies. The intrigue, suspense, twists and turns will have you putting aside real world responsibilities. Also, the narration was excellent. Out of all the audiobooks I have listened to, this is one of the best I have heard. It seemed as if the narrators embodied the characters. I did not feel like I was listening to an audiobook. It felt like I was watching a movie, just without the picture effect. It was amazing! I can't wait to start reading part two.

I'm a reader that loves to read books that step outside of their genre's comfort zone. Lorelei's Lyric is typical in some ways, but in other ways, it is different. Especially having a hero who is a drug addict and emotionally wounded, which gave the story depth and kept me interested in the lives of Lorelei and Vance. It also made me want to read the other books in this series.

I did not think the narration was good, but it was not bad. I do not feel that the narrator was able to convey each character's personality in a way that gave them their own uniqueness. Overall, I recommend this audiobook. I feel it will give the reader a mini mental vacation. In other words, it will relax you and cause you to fantasize about Loreli's world.

Secret Enemy was the best book in the Secret Series. This series needs to be turned into a movie. I enjoyed listening to it, and I thought that the narrator was excellent. It was very interesting to see things from Jonas' point of view. At times, I was angry with him, and other times I was sad for him. However, what I enjoyed most were the subtle Christian elements. Now let me explain; some people reading will say this is definitely not how Christian characters should act. Keep in mind that I did not say this was a Christian book, but it had touches of the Christian faith, which did not bother me because I mostly read Christian fiction.

I hope Gina A. Jones will give Luke and Natalie a story. I know Luke is much younger than her, but wouldn't that make an interesting twist? Gina A. Jones, if you are reading this review, please give these two a story. Overall, this was one of the best series that I have had the privilege to indulge in for a while. I did not want it to end. I want Sydney to have her own story too.

I feel lost, because I feel like these characters are my friends who I know will stay in my head for weeks and months. They will say, "Do you remember when you listened to the story about a damaged king, an innocent queen, and princess who just wanted a family?"
