Hi, I'm Alexis Delaney. I'm your average 17-year-old girl. Except I can see the dead. And talk to the dead. And push them away and, well, help them move on. For years I've been struggling to survive the souls still roaming around. The shitheads always seem to find me. Moving from town to town every few months never helped either. More dead just always find me. But things are changing for me now. I'm moving in with my uncle Rory and cousin Tara. I'm finally going to be able to do normal teenage stuff I've been missing out on. Right?

My resignation letter was rejected by my boss with his sexy, trademark smirk and an "I highly suggest you read the fine print of your contract...." So, I did. And now I've realized that unless I fake my death, poison him, or find a way to renegotiate my impossible contract, I'm stuck working under one of the cockiest and most ruthless bosses in New York. Then again, I thought that was the case until he called me late last night with an emergency proposition....

this was a really good listening experience. I had been in a bit of an audio book rut and came across this by chance. the storyline was cute and surprising. (it totally sounded like the movie at first but you forget that pretty quick). both actors did fantastic and I'd definitely recommend it.

My name is Arizona Smoke, and I'm the proud owner of a house haunted by my dead Gram, best friend to a cocktail dress loving werewolf, and apparent soul mate to four plumbers who also happen to be elemental dragons. Besides rippling pectorals, tattoos, and … uh, nice, long pipes, the guys also have control of the elements. Supernatural law (whoever heard of such a thing anyway?) dictates that since I stumbled upon the guys in their alternate forms, I have to marry them. All four of them. Oh, and apparently one lousy (okay, awesome) night of sex means that I'm an elemental, too—and no amount of magical penicillin can cure this disease.

The summary does not give this book due justice. The charecters are unique and hillarious, especially Ari and Brit together. I was laughing so hard at work i was getting funny looks. This is also the first book ever ive actually copied and sent quotes to my friends purely for their hilarity.

It was the first time he hurt me and it wouldn't be the last. For 10 years, he's been my tormentor and I've been his forbidden. But then he went away, and yet I was still afraid. This is one of the most disturbing books ive ever read. it glorifies abuse to a degree that is inexcusable. I'm terrified at how many good reviews it has received. apparently as long as the lead chatecter is hot enough it makes rape, physical and emotional abuse "hot". nothing about this was ok. I felt like it was just glorified rape porn.
