I usually love this author. Have listened to many of his books. But the readers exaggerated quavering voices, coupled with many unfamiliar made-up terms made it confusing and frustrating. I took several attempts at listening but quickly lost interest. I think a different producer could perhaps salvage this book, but this production is unlistenable.

Very easy read and covers many ways to get our information correct as we explore the world around us and the people in it. It's a big book but never gets boring or repetitive.

It filled my heart with compassion as I saw a small boy deal with a horrible situation by turning to an ideology and then journey past it to a new life of compassion and rationality. He teaches so much while telling one of the most compelling stores I have heard in a long time. Nawaz gives a pathway to hope and healing for our world.

I love the way Harris makes the past seem real. Harris presents Seneca as a mixture of decency and opportunism. A stoic a a self serving man.

I was expecting a lot more from one of my favorite authors. Plot was tedious and had many holes. Parts had some clever ideas so i was able to finish it but I had to take many breaks of several days our it would not hold my attention. Medium quality young adult fiction I am afraid.

Franken is my Senator but I didn't know him well. He talks much about how much work it takes to build bridges to people who are at the opposite political view. I am pleased to see his commitment to values, decency, and critical thinking I.e. truth. His stories are entertaining and I couldn't stop listening.
