An unexpected dose of revenge has temporarily put Ebony out of commission, but the minute she gets back on her feet she is determined to seek vengeance against the man who tried to kill her.

I have listened to both books. This one was ridiculous. The characters were all over the place. People getting shot should have died. The narrator reading the lines two and three times. Also she was singing and it was horrible. Cee Scott please stop singing in the books. The ending was awful. You never heard anything else after Ebony son was taken away. Ill keep the book but I won't listen to it again.

The book was truly full circle. I enjoyed how the book started off as a teenager and the book took Karin to adulthood. I was so happy for Karin, when enough was enough. Once Nina came into her life, her life took a turn for the best. Excellent book.

Looking for a warm and fuzzy tale about a colorful preacher and his congregation of lively church folk? How about a feel-good story full of life lessons, good morals, and happy endings? Well, keep looking because this isn't it. Reverend Cash is the story of a street hustler turned preacher from the mean streets of the south side of Memphis, TN. Reverend Cash is a player, a pimp, and a preacher all rolled into one. To him the pulpit is just another hustle. He hits the big time when he hijacks the helm of a megachurch in Atlanta, leaving behind a trail of death and destruction.

This book is horrible. I will be receiving a refund. The title does not go with this book. The book had some funny parts in the beginning with the buffalo girls. But then the book took a dark side with the sibling having sex. Which was gross. Then the preacher raps the junior ministry. The book kept going downhill. Then there is rape in prison. That was it for me. The book has to much gross and disgusting parts for me. If I could give it no stars I would.

The book started out interesting. Then after the kids got away and grew up. The book went downhill. The book didn't make sense. The end of the book was okay. But I got to chapter 11, then I couldn't take it. I then skipped to the last chapter. I usually like Treasure Hernandez books, but this one. No go.
