What if Red Riding Hood didn't fall in love with one Big Bad Wolf, but three? I've been a city girl my entire life. But when my grandmother got sick, I didn't think twice before packing my bags and moving to Crimson Hollow, a small town in West Virginia. Two years later, I'm still here and finally adjusting to the quiet life. Only there's nothing ordinary about this town. A walk in the woods proved almost deadly and left me changed forever. I was attacked by a rogue wolf, and now, I belong to the Crimson Hollow pack. I'm a shifter.

Another fantasy/romance book that I can't get enough of! I totally fell in love with this book. The characters...I wish I knew them in real life. There is so much depth to the story that I couldn't put it down. I can't wait to read more from the author and from this series in particular!

I FLEW through all three books available on audio thus far and I can't wait for more to join. Drav and the other fae were so creatively developed. I love all the characters. It is dramatic, suspenseful, romantic, and scary all at the same time. Please, do yourself a favor...if you are into paranormal and/or end of the worldy, sci/fi, fantasyish type of books...don't walk but run and get yourself a copy of this book. I prefer audio but read it or listen to it...either way, it is a really great series.

Reading this book provides some great insight to the meaning of the "fantasy" and "paranormal" genres. It was definitely an adventure from start to finish. I have read a lot of books and this one took some creativity to actually develop into the story. The character development was decent and I believe would have been more descriptive if the book was longer. I will check out more books by these authors in the future. The narrator was okay. I thought the range of voices he was able to do was a plus. However, I had a hard time listening to the voice for Diego. It sounded pretty rehearsed and a little phony. I really liked the voice of Satan though. All in all, it was a decent quick listen...and pretty entertaining. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

This is my favorite genre but sometimes it is difficult to find a really good romance involving other planets/aliens/paranormal stuff. This book is great. I love that the background and story build up are a bit different than so many of the other stories like this. The narration was exceptional as well. I can't wait for the next one!

This is the first book I have seen by this author and it is phenomenal. I have read many sci-fi alien romance types of books but this one is by far the best. That is saying a lot since I love Ruby Dixon and Laurann Dohner...although New Species will probably always be the best non-alien sci-fi. From start to finish this book is amazing.

When 19-year-old Lucy Whitman's best guy friend of 10 years admits he’s part of a community with an “open-door policy” on sex, Lucy is intrigued. She’s always wanted Rylan with a fierceness bordering on obsession. Getting him to agree to take her may be her only shot at having him in her bed, but Rylan’s reluctant agreement comes with three stipulations. One: She can’t tell anyone. Two: She’ll have to be okay with him being her main partner, even if it’s completely weird for them both. Three: She has to do anything he tells her to - no questions asked.

Wow. This book was one of the hottest books I have ever listened to. The narration was great and the story was straight up living out your fantasies type of sex. The only even partially negative comment I could make is that I really wish it was longer. Normally I enjoy shorter books but this was so 🔥 I would have loved to listen to much more. I did receive this book free of charge for providing a review, however, that has nothing to do with my opinion of the book. If there is such thing as a female version of a spank bank then this is going in mine!

Most witches have a coven. Not me. For me, the protection a coven offers does not outweigh the risk of being discovered. I've worked odd jobs here and there peddling (mostly) legal potions I brew when I can. But when an opportunity to work for the vampires fell in my lap, I took it. I heal the people they feed on and don't ask too many questions. After less than six months working this gig, a girl turns up dead, drained of blood. Of course, I am the first person the police pay a visit to.

This is hard to write. I had a hard time getting through this. It didn't feel as thought there was much depth to the characters and the story itself was also lacking here. In reading the summary, I was very interested in the book but, unfortunately, I didn't feel like it delivered. I felt a bit bored listening to it. I was just not very impressed with the author. Normally I like the narration of Laurel Schroeder. Again, I felt bored. Now, because I normally like her I am thinking this too falls back on the story as opposed to the narration but I felt like I had to give it three stars because I really didn't enjoy the narration this time either. It just seemed a bit flat to me and I have not felt that way about her before...maybe she couldn't get into the book either? I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Hopefully better luck next time. Maybe it was just my own personal tastes. I purposely didn't look at any other reviews in an effort to keep my opinion from being influenced by others so maybe I am the minority here...?

For starters, even though this book is based on revenge...I think everyone wins. It is very sexy, hot, and erotic. The story line is creative and really drew me in. I would love to have this fantasy acted out in real life although I do think it would be difficult to keep more emotion out of the betrayal if it was real. My only complaint...and this is purely about personal preference and taste, is I had a hard time listening to the male genitalia being referred to as "meat" as it was throughout much of the book. The narrator was pretty good with both her female and male voice. This was my first time reading/listening to content from this author and I am excited to purchase another one of Akayla's stories. It was a hot quickie that left me satisfied and excited for the next one! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
