I know the story is where the action is, but I want more of their happily ever after. Rhys is flawless. I wanna see them have their son. I enjoyed this series immensely. We just need to see more happy endings. I think she'll probably/hopefully do spin offs for Lucien and Cass. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone.

There are three things you need to know about Elizabeth Bennett: She's smart as a whip, always in control, and lives by a set of carefully crafted rules. She's learned the hard way that people you love the most always hurt you in the end. But then she meets Declan Blay, the new neighbor at her apartment complex. A tattooed British street fighter, he's the campus bad boy she's supposed to avoid, but when he saves her from a frat party gone bad, all her rules about sex and love fly out the window.

Honestly, you're going to want to smack Elizabeth about a million times. It's basically start, stop for 94% of the book. Declan was great. Elizabeth was annoying/self-deprecating/angst-y . The HEA was good though.

I found an envelope in the mail. No return address. My name on the front, my address. Inside was a check, made out to me, in the amount of 10 thousand dollars. Enough to pay the bills and leave me some left over to live on until I found a job. Enough to let me focus on classes. There was no name on the check, just "VRI Inc.", and a post office box address for somewhere in the city. No hint of identity or reason for the check or anything. No mention of repayment, interest, nothing...except a single word, on the notes line: "You." Just those three letters.

First things first, I loved Summer's narration. The end of the book was tainted with Tyler's. He sounded bored. He wasn't at all what Roth's supposedly tantalizing voice should be. I kinda zoned out listening to him. Other than that, I'm glad the story keeps Roth and Kyrie together for say 90% of it. I hate the run away and cry; rinse and repeat cycle some books get into. She did run, but it was acceptable under the conditions. I'm glad the author didn't string it out. I'm just gonna say I did not hear about this girl taking any birth control. I was half expecting an epilogue where her eggo is preggo. Didn't happen because it won't fit in the trilogy, which apparently has dark intrigue. I think I'm happy with this ending. I might just live with the mystery. Don't know if I wanna go through 9 hours of a kidnapping. I'm on a tangent, but yeah.

I once read that every warrior hoped an honorable death would find him. I always went looking for mine, but not even the Reaper wanted me. I was trained to kill. I was trained to not ask why. To take orders and just march in line. Hoo-ah motherf--ker. Life or death. Ride or die. And I'm not only talking about the military. I'm talking about the life that led me on the road to nowhere. My life. I fought for my brothers. I fought for my family. I fought for my country. And I fought for her...Never realizing I might die for them too.

I love Creed. Mia and Creed have so many obstacles. Whether it's their age difference, family, or circumstance. There is always something fighting them. Creed is broken. Mia unwittingly fills in all of his cracks for years finally making him whole when he claims her. This book will rip your heart out. It's not as bad as the second book though. That one will ruin you. Finally you get the end you need, the HEA. Still some part of you will still be destroyed due to how it played out. I want a Creed, but I don't want to be a Mia. Only read this book if you can take on the emotional roller coaster you're in for.

Living in a world where I was worth more dead than alive was a choice. I was a bad man; I never claimed to be anything else. I've done things I'm not proud of, seen things that can't be unseen. I've caused pain that I can't undo. It was all my choice. Every decision. Every order. Right and wrong never mattered. Until her. She was under my protection, until she became my obsession.

This book broke me. Rollercoaster is not even sufficient to describe what I went through. The last hour pulled all of the pieces together, but it's gonna take awhile. Seriously, I don't think I will ever forgive him for everything he did. Even though he had reasons. I can't. I recommend this book to you if you want to be tortured, and not even the happy ending can fix the gaping wounds etched into you.

It's crazy how fast the buzz comes back after you've been sober for so long. Whiskey stood there, on my doorstep, just like he had one year before. Except this time, there was no rain, no anger, no wedding invitation - it was just us. >It was just him - the old friend, the easy smile, the twisted solace wrapped in a glittering bottle. It was just me - the alcoholic, pretending like I didn't want to taste him, realizing too quickly that months of being clean didn't make me crave him any less.

Benella is concerned with two things - avoiding the two village boys who torment her and scrounging for food to help feed her family. Unfortunately the best wild fruit and vegetables are near the walls of the estate, a dark, misty place inhabited by an unforgiving beast. When her tormentors lock her behind the massive gates, Benella knows her fate is sealed. Yet the fate isn't one she expects. Her encounter with the beast starts a bizarre cycle of bargaining for her freedom, a freedom the beast seems determined to see her lose.

Safely hidden within the estate's enchanted walls, Benella no longer has time to fear her tormentors. She's too preoccupied attempting to determine what makes the beast so beastly. It might be the taxing visits from the aged enchantress who cursed him or his growing vexation at not being allowed to touch Benella.

Rainer Torrence is everything I could have wanted in my life and more. He became my best friend when I was 13 years old. From then on, we were inseparable. He was my first love and my first heartbreak. But I always thought it was forever. Until his father died and things went bad. Then suddenly he disappeared. Ten years and I didn't see or hear from him. Then came the call I'd been praying for - he was back in town. Only the man I remembered is not him. This man is quiet, deadly, and so incredibly beautiful.
