Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Highly recommended - written so beautifully. The characters are tangible. Every anxious moment is palpable. Each character is unique and believable. So sad the story had to end!

What about Jenna Lamia’s performance did you like?

Awesome narration - just the right amount of emotion to convince the listener that this actually happened.

Probably wouldn't listen again - need to know what happens next!

What does Emily Sutton-Smith bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Emily does an brilliant job of differentiating between the characters - her excellent reading adds to the suspense.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I would have listened in one sitting if I could have - I made numerous excuses to find time to listen.

Any additional comments?

Kept me on the edge of my seat - the twist at the end was unexpected.

Where does The Breakdown rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

One of the best books I've listened to - couldn't wait to continue through the story. Excellent plot that kept me on the edge of my seat guessing until the end.

What does Georgia Maguire bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Georgia Maguire was excellently cast to read this book - I choose books sometimes based on the fact that she is narrating them!

What made the experience of listening to The Life We Bury the most enjoyable?

Awesome book - kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish.

Couldn't wait to listen to each chapter. The characters were well constructed and the chapters expertly interwoven to increase the volume and intensity of the suspense as the story progressed.

Beautifully written story about abuse resulting in shame, self flagellation and guilt. A compelling read and so so sad.
