Once again Kevin Pierce does a great job as a narrator. The book itself has just enough uniqueness to allow it to remain interesting to someone who has read just about every other story in the genre. Good job.

Mark Tufo's characters come to life with his writing in a vivid and many times comical manner. His vampire twist on the typical zombie apocalypse first seems to be a bit over the top to me but as the story continued the melding of the vampire and zombie stories really became quite interesting.

In an apocalypse, there is definitely a beginning where mistakes are made and the seeds of evil are allowed to sprout and take shape. However, an end is not so certain. Once an apocalypse occurs, not even death is certain. Sometimes, death is only the beginning.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes the book takes a twist to the usual vampire witch etc story

What did you like best about this story?

The mixture of sensuality, intrigue and action is well balanced. It's not too much of anything nor too little.

Have you listened to any of Jennifer Ikeda’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No. I am impressed with the performance.

Any additional comments?
