Zanetti knows how to do alpha male hotness, her stories have great characters and strong antagonists that drive the plot in a way that keeps you at the edge of your seat. The narrator however, did everything in her power to make the characters sound as annoying as possible. She needs to admit that she CANNOT do male voices.

I LOVE all things lycan but I could barely finish this book. The premise of only the alpha remembering what happens during transformation was too much for me to handle. The heroine of the story took too long to accept her fate and I spent much of the story despising her. I was not drawn to any characters and the author did not persuade me to fall into this world.

I loved this story, a H who is questionable in the beginning and then grows in both loyalty and respect. Jonathan is forced to become a hero and as typical, he rebels. I mean who wouldn't rebel at a thankless job of giving up your dreams to be Earth's savior and not have anyone to share it with. However, he does not falter in his quest to better himself, does he doubt his ability to succeed YES but he never gives up. Hodges has created a character and a universe that draws you in and keeps you invested. I cannot wait for the next book!
