What disappointed you about The Princess Diarist?

There was no story. It appeared to be repetitive ramblings. It was really not very interesting. Three of us listened to the book on a road trip. We were very interested in listening to the book. We tried to be interested, but the lack of a story just bored all of us. We kept waiting for something interesting-but it never came. We gave up after listening to the book somewhere around the halfway mark.

Would you ever listen to anything by Carrie Fisher again?

Doubt it.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

To make it worse, the narrator's voice was sometimes normal, sometimes loud and sometimes impossible to hear.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Princess Diarist?

Unfortunately, I do not see how the current book could be saved.

Have you listened to any of Len Cariou???s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Really enjoy Len Cariou's voice. Recognizable right away in whatever form.

Do you think Suicide Run needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

If Connelly has more short stories - it would be great.

What did you like best about Shelter? What did you like least?

Not the best effort from Coben, but as a long time reader of his books, it is interesting to see the development of his story and characters over time. The reader must read the books in sequence to understand this.

Was Shelter worth the listening time?

It was OK.

Was interesting to see what happens to these characters, but the book seems so passive. There is a lot of narrative of what the characters are thinking - or their circumstances - but not as much smart dialogue as in the first.
I was disappointed.
