It all started with the wrong Help Wanted ad. Of course it did. I'm a professional fluffer. It's not what you think. I stage homes for a living. Real estate agents love me, and my work stands on its own merits. Sigh. Get your mind out of the gutter. Go ahead. Laugh. I'll wait. See? That's the problem. My career has used the term "fluffer" for decades. I didn't even know there was a more...lascivious definition of the term. Until it was too late.

Another super hilariously fun book. So many funny bits, talking about the search terms used to find out about what happened and see pictures on line. And then when the main character calls someone Hagrid's porn twin, I just about died laughing! Listening to this on my drive home from Branson and it made the drive fly by. I did get mad at the main character at one point when she was mad at her love interest for no reason, but as you've heard me say in past reviews, I know that is just how authors add the drama! So much I loved about this story, and let me tell you what, while it wasn't a cliffhanger per se for how this ended, it definitely left me needing book two, Perky.

After a case of mistaken identity, Jessica finds herself in a massive confusion kerfuffle. She has spent her whole life paralyzed by the fantasy of Beau and her assumptions of Duane's disdain; therefore she's unprepared for the reality that is Duane's insatiable interest, as well as his hot hands and hot mouth and hotter looks. Not helping Jessica's muddled mind and good girl sensibilities, Duane seems to have gotten himself in trouble with the local biker gang, the Iron Order.

Now, I've read a few others in this series, so I seem to be going out of order. But man did this book just make me so happy. I listened to the audiobook and the narrators' voices were perfect! The back story that we get for the characters is great. And then there are so many parts that just had me rolling with laughter. There was a whole bit where Cletus was talking about his sausage, and it totally reminded me of the episode of The Big Bang Theory where Sheldon kept asking about his wood. I decided I loved the way that Jessica described herself as being a "well-kissed goof", and that I want more than anything to feel that way again some day. I think the male narrator on this is probably a new favorite of mine, and if he does more of the books, I need to listen to the ones I haven't read yet. It was also fun listening to this on my trip to Branson, because I saw lots of bearded men that made me think of this.

Zane Phillips mistook me for his dog walker. It shouldn’t surprise me that the man with a suit more expensive than my rent would assume that I was there to serve him. The positive? I put him in his place. The negative? I missed my job interview because of it. Now I find out he’s a rich Australian entrepreneur, and he wants to make up for tanking my interview. Yes, he’s impossibly hot - but he’s also an arrogant jackass - so...no thanks. But after a little white lie I tell spirals out of control, I’m somehow offered the chance to play Zane’s girlfriend to help promote his new dating website....

As always, I loved this story by Bromberg. She made me be able to connect with a woman who was the total opposite of me, beautiful model type of woman. But boy does she not only know how to make me laugh, but she makes me know how to cry. There were so many parts at the beginning where I felt like the one kid on The Simpsons who is always saying "ha ha" and pointing, because I felt that way whenever Harlow would pull one over on Zane. But then Bromberg also knows how to write the steamy sex, perfect when needed in the story. Another winner for me, another book that tells me Bromberg can do no wrong!

So this book had a full cast of narrators, almost one for every main character! That was definitely fun, but you could tell it was also definitely written for this type of an audiobook. It was a lot of fun to listen to it this way, and of course to swoon over Sebastian York's voice. Although there were times that it almost was too many people for me, just because of what I am used to with most audiobooks. But I have a feeling this may be how audiobooks are recorded more often, when possible anyway.

I loved the story, had my usual irritations with the reasons the two main characters held themselves back from just giving into their feelings as well. I also had to stop listening to this for a bit when I started because I was reading a book with a similar storyline, where the guy liked the girl that he met first, but she ended up falling for his best friend instead. Both stories were good, this one so much fun as well. It was neat to get a little time back with at least one of our characters from an earlier audiobook, Lucky Suit. Also, again with all the talk of chocolate, just made me want chocolate!

Now, you need to get this audiobook and listen to it, because there is like about an hour interview with two of the narrators afterwards, two of my favorites, Andi Arndt, and Sebastian York. And while I was disappointed they didn't answer the question I'd submitted, it was still so much fun to listen to them talk to each other and answer the questions that they did. Now, I'm still left needing to see just what Sebastian York looks like in real life. Does he match that voice?

I'd wanted to read this because there was a page for it in the romance coloring book I have. I finally decided to use one of my Audible credits on it. It started really good, then there was a boring patch at the beginning where I wondered what would be happening, but then it picked up again. It was a roller coaster of a ride, and I really enjoyed it. It was almost a 5 star read, but there was just something that kept it from being that for me. It had some good twists, ones that I thought I knew what was coming, but then it wasn't what I expected. A good read!

It's been a while since I listened to the first book in this series, but I had purchased this on Audible a while back, and decided I was in the mood to listen to it. And boy am I glad I did, this one was so good! One thing that was really funny for me as I listened, was at the beginning when I was getting so annoyed with one character going on and on describing stuff, and then the author totally wove that moment into the story so that her spacing out was annoying or causing issues for another character. I loved chapter 7, it was extremely hot! And then there was a lot of back and forth between the characters that fit perfectly for the most part, enough that it didn't even annoy me when it was a usual type of issue you see. Then something happened at the end to one of the other characters, and I'm guessing that is who one of the next books will be about, and I'll need to read it soon! Another great book from this author!

It seemed like a good idea at the time. Look up Landon Roderick, that boy from childhood whom I'd never been able to forget - even though he so easily forgot about me - and call him. Then again, anything sounds like a good idea when you've had a little too much wine before bed, right? It was supposed to be just a quick, meaningless prank call. Instead I went off on him - unloading 13 years of pent-up emotions. I didn't think he'd call me back.

My third book by this author and once again I really enjoyed it! At first, I was a little unsure. I figured that the main character must have some kind of scar or something, but the reason that she didn't want to show her face to Landon was a total surprise to me. Although I was unable to understand exactly how she felt in the one comment she made, so much of the story was really good besides that. Landon was a dream guy, and I don't quite get why she got upset over his big reveal, because really, how was that any worse than a guy who had just been a straight out manwhore? But then there was the whole big part of the story that had to do with her secret, as well as her "little sis", and that had me in tears, and I couldn't stop listening. A great story!

Another 5 star story from one of my favorite series by one of my favorite authors. I love Braedon so much. But he's got a lot going on in this one, and I think he makes a mistake when he doesn't tell Ivy what he found out about her night with Zach. However I also was very mad that Ivy didn't tell anyone about the little weird things that had been happening to her. There were a lot of things that happened that really just added to the drama, but so much of this story made me laugh or cry that I was won over. We got a few chapters from Zach's point of view, which okay, but I didn't like having so many of them in a row, and skipping over so much time for the rest of the characters. There was one quote I really liked, "Little secrets become big lies." That is so true. It was good to meet Ivy's brother, although how he treated Braeden ticked me off. And while I see some people unhappy with how Braeden dealt with Zach in the final scene, I actually was okay with it. Sometimes, those types of people, they just aren't going to stop, and when they almost get other people killed, well, that's how I feel about that. Oh yeah, and someone needs to take Missy down, I have no good feelings about her.

This was my first book by this author, and while I had some issues with it, I definitely enjoyed it enough that I am going to want to read more. Sometimes I have trouble listening to books that are in third person, especially romance, I kind of like the first person better. I think I'd have liked this even better with two narrators, one for the male and one for the female parts. Not that the narrator was bad, I just think the book might have been better. But I guess when it is in third person, you don't always need the two people to read. Some of the sexy parts were a little cringe-worthy for me, I guess just compared to the really steamy stuff I usually read. I did totally get what the main character mentioned about always feeling like a third wheel, with parents, etc. Because that's totally my life!

Towards the end, the really final issue, I was a little mad that she didn't give him a chance to explain, because she knew he had a son, and should have at least thought that was a possibility. And then, I feel like his proposal was a little soon, but okay. Again, my steamy romances may give me a little more time with that? I did get the friends bit, really is similar to the short story I'm working on.

This was a short, sweet, and funny story. I guess it kind of goes with some other books by this author, and I'll have to listen to them as well. But I loved our characters in this one, Kristen and Cameron. I kind of agreed with Kristen's thoughts on dating in real life. However I don't see that online dating is much better. At least I haven't had any guys actually spend much time talking online, so haven't had a good experience with that. And then there's Cameron. He's hilarious! Not to mention Kristen's grandma, Jeannie, LOVED her! The pranks in this story were so good. It's almost like one prank after another. And one of them I didn't quite get until we were in the middle of a date and Kristen was starting to figure it out. Although I was with Cameron, figured it out a little quicker. Had an HEA, and maybe I would have liked a little more sexy times instead of the fade to black we kind of got, but it was a good one anyway. And I know I have more to read with the related stories.
