I didn't like this book at all. I listended for 2 hours about common problems that women face. The author didn't provide any concrete solutions to the problem. I got this book because of its high ratings. It was a waste of credit for me and I do not recommend this at all!

Now, Deborah Tannen brings to the workplace the same voice, eye, and insight that made That's Not What I Meant! and You Just Don't Understand best-selling classics.

I didn't like this book. There are a few good ideas such as the "me incorporated" concept. Some good researches do exist to back the author's claims. However, a lot of the information are common sense and loosely tied together. The worst thing about this audiobook is the voice of the narrator. She talked in this harsh and condescending voice, like she was talking down to me. I didn't enjoy listening to her pitch, and I find my mind wandering a lot while listening to this audiobook.

This book dramatically changed the way I eat! I used to eat only fruits for a meal because I thought they would give me a lot of anti-oxidant. Man, was I wrong!! Protein is the way to go. In one interview, Dr. Perricone said that the day you stop eating protein is the day you age... EEK!! Back to the book, the information are written in great details. I wish I had the book though becuase many ingredients or chemical he mentioned in the book are new to me. Without knowing the spelling of the words, i find it hard to look for the products he mentioned. I advised my boyfriend to listen to the book. I did notice a difference after following his guidelines. I highly recommend this life changing book!

I saw the great review and downloaded the book. I am not disappointed. This book goes beyond financial management, and talks about the quality of a wealthy and successful women. Suzy's perspective on generosity is refreshing and all women must listen to it! As women, we always put others' priority over ours. We need to change. We cannot pay for our children's college fund if we are in debt ourselves. We need to set our priority straight. I like how she emphasizes no blame no shame, as I really had no idea about financial management! All the financial suggestions and information are great. one star off for the lack of Canadian contents... this is not the fault of the writer, but I do wish Suzy would explain rrsp and pension for the Canadian audiences! Unlike Kim Kiyosaki's "Rich women", Suzy is straight to the point. All the stories in the book are related to the topic. I really enjoy this book, and would recommend for all women to listen!

This was a great listen! The writer describes why aging brain is not that bad. Although memory declines, older brains are more positive and are better in dealing with a variety of situations. At times, I find the book repetitive, but I think this is done so that the points can really hit home. I really like the ending where she talks about her friends and the roses. What a great way to end the book! The narrator did a great job and brought the book to life!

This books gives a very general overview of all the different types of property investment such as foreclosure,Single family units, REO, commercial, strip malls etc. However, many of these investments are reserved for those who have more experience. Since the book is meant for a first-timer, I am not sure why these information took up so much space in the book. On the other hand, this book skims through the important topics I was hoping to learn about such as getting a good interest rate, mortgage, location. Instead, this book assumes that you know nothing in life in general and tells you to have a good personality (DUH). I also have a strong dislike of books that state your response should depend on the situation. While this is true, I am reading a book to look for some definitive guidelines! Very disappointing. A waste of credit :( 1 point for the narrator for he has an enthusiastic voice to help me get through the chapters.

This is an amazing book and should be a mandatory reading in high schools or universities. The first part of the book was about the Dr Frankl's experience in the concentration camp. Dr. Frankl was kind enough to spare us the gruesome parts of his experience, and only talks about those experience that shaped his philosophy and logo-therapy. The second part of the book provide an overview of logotheraphy. This is by far my favoriate book. Get it! This is too good to pass up!
