From the opening chapter JRWard reveals her mastery and doesn’t stop until the final kiss. I laughed, I cried, I felt deeply and rejoiced at the end. I don’t know how she does this but every single book leaves me needing more of the Brotherhood in my life.

While this is part of a series, Cheyenne did a great job of presenting the story without making the reader feel like chunks of the books was missing in other books. I enjoyed Clint and Ellie journey of discovery and how they worked to find happiness they both deserved.

The narration was great and very easy and appealing to listen to.

I would recommend this book.

Perfect balance of paranormal and modern life to be interesting. Caitlyn did a wonderful job of letting the reader get to know the characters and develop a relationship with therm. This was my first ever Caitlyn O’Leary book and I’m all set to finish the series.

Jake Weston and I met under a cloud of cliches: Boy meets girl. Boy charms girl. Boy screws girl. He was the sexiest, cockiest man I'd ever encountered, but I had no idea he was a senior pilot when we met. No idea we worked for the same airline, and he had secrets just like me.

Sorry for the pun but dam! This is my second Whitney G book and I’m totally hooked. I can’t believe the depth of emotion I felt along with the characters. This book from start to finish had me emotionally invested. Jake was a hard ass I couldn’t help but love and be angry with at the same time in the same scene. Great read. Can’t wait to read the next book from this amazing author.

Going Dark sets the scene for another amazing series from the McCarty. The book opens by giving us a glimpse into the life's of the platoon members and then sets the stage for the rest series with anchor characters of Dean & Annie and Colt and Kate. As with all McCarty's books she provides an amazing love story full of sexual tension mixed with the right amount of drama and high stakes action to keep the reader highly engaged. I've only one complaint with the work - that I have to wait for the second installment! Great job and I can't wait to learn more about the lost platoon.
