Magic, adventure, mystery, and romance combine in this epic debut in which a young princess must reclaim her dead mother’s throne, learn to be a ruler - and defeat the Red Queen, a powerful and malevolent sorceress determined to destroy her. On her 19th birthday, Princess Kelsea Raleigh Glynn, raised in exile, sets out on a perilous journey back to the castle of her birth to ascend her rightful throne. Plain and serious, a girl who loves books and learning, Kelsea bears little resemblance to her mother, the vain and frivolous Queen Elyssa.

I will never get a book read by Kellgren. Her voice ruined sound itself for me. I couldnt even get through 10 minutes of her yelling. If you enjoy high pitched noises and treble at levels that break glass then get this book or any other read by this narater. My GOD!!!!!!

This man should have died! His story ended with the tourdefrance, it starts long before that. This book will motivate you to live and to take a look at your life and be greatful. If you do have problems as big as Lances where his book will give you hope and strong will.

Ive read most of the great fantasy novels out there or so I thought. When I started reading this book it felt different than the tipical fantasy novel . The more I read of it the more I liked it. The only weird thing about this book is it seems like it was two books or two not so short stories. The thing about this book is you have to realize it was writen in five different books and compressed into three. It was very well writen with twists and turns that suprised me. You dont find this well writen of a book very often. A very lucky find for a fantasy fan. Must read all three they only get better.

When I saw they had put in audible I bought it even though I had no credits. One of the best star was books ever. Get it you'll love it. The last two Bane books are also worth reading. Both are very solid books.

For a thousand years the ash fell and no flowers bloomed. For a thousand years the Skaa slaved in misery and lived in fear. For a thousand years the Lord Ruler, the "Sliver of Infinity," reigned with absolute power and ultimate terror, divinely invincible. Then, when hope was so long lost that not even its memory remained, a terribly scarred, heart-broken half-Skaa rediscovered it in the depths of the Lord Ruler's most hellish prison.

If you are a star wars fan this is a must read. The story takes place between Revenge of the sith and A new hope. It ties up a few loose ends between the movies. Also a good stand alone story if you have never watched the movies. Just all around good writing. A very entertaining story. Jonathan Davis does and excellent job of narrating to boot. I really enjoyed this book.

Why we think it’s a great listen: Want to join the “superhumans”? Luckily you don’t have to run to catch up with them, thanks to McDougall’s and Sanders’ inspiring (and motivating) journey through history, science, physiology, health, entertaining characters and unlikely friendships. Full of incredible characters, amazing athletic achievements, cutting-edge science, and, most of all, pure inspiration, Born to Run is an epic adventure.
