This is by far the best book in the series this far. I could not stop listening to it...every free moment I had I was listening. The action was non-stop, the story intriguing, and the characters engaging as usual. This one will be hard to beat!!

I think my standards are so high after reading four other books in the series that this one was a bit of a letdown. the whole book seemed too slow and never really had me on the edge of my seat like the other ones I have read. However, it is still a good book and I enjoyed listening to it.

This is the 5th book in the series I've read. I read the 2 latest ones and then decided to start from the beginning. What a great decision! Each book has been great and never boring and not once did I think "here we go again". I cant wait to start the next one.

I have listened to every single book in the series and this is one of his best. Thankfully George Guidell is back as the narrator. I don't know what they were thinking on the last book but not having George read was a big mistake. I highly recommend reading this series in order but this is a great stand-alone book to get started on if you do not have time.

What did you love best about American Assassin?

The story! I've read 3 of the latest Mitch Rapp series books and fell in love with them. I decided to start in the beginning. I really enjoy the style and story telling ability of Mr. Flynn. He keeps you guessing and glued to your audio device.

What about George Guidall’s performance did you like?

Mr. Guidall is one of the best narrators I've listened to. His voice facilitates getting lost in the story. Especially like his version of Stan Hurley!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

YES!!!

The finish is worth the wait. This is the 2nd book in the series that I've read and both books were the same...the 1st 3/4 was slow and a little tedious and the last 1/4 was really good. I wish the story could have a quicker pace throughout, but a good book overall.

Loved it. What a great author! Would recommend any of his books for an awesome read. Baldacci keeps you engaged in the story and you don't want to stop listening.

vanilla...not bad. it was at least short. narrator had a lisp that was distracting that made it difficult for me to concentrate.
