Father of cyberpunk William Gibson’s original script for Alien III, written in 1987 as a sequel to Aliens, never made it to our screens, although it went on to achieve cult status among fans as the third instalment that might have been after being leaked online. This terrifying, cinematic multicast dramatisation - directed by the multi-award-winning Dirk Maggs - is the chance to experience William Gibson’s untold story and its terrifying, claustrophobic and dark encounters between humans and aliens, as a completely immersive audio experience.

While I did enjoy the audio drama, there are parts where I was confused by the action. I had some difficulty making out what was going on. Maybe, I am just getting old. At times there just seemed to be too much background noise. I did enjoy the performance overall and plan on getting more audio dramas. It is nice to have them. They do put me in mind of the old radio plays and things like BBC radio dramas and comedies.

It is nice to have Ms. Harris journey into a new world. I did have to backtrack a few times, but I found it to be an enjoyable story. I am glad it didn't evolve into a romantic novel. The lead is a character that I want to learn more about. Looking forward to the next book.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I enjoy the time of I enjoy the Tome of Bill series, I am tired of Bill's childish behavior. He has had several adventures and he stays the same. being a smart-ass is fine and dandy, but show some maturity. He gets annoying.

Would you ever listen to anything by Rick Gualtieri again?

Yes. I love the characters, but he needs to move past trying to be so cool. Bill has been told over and over to learn about his powers and the vampires. But he won't grow up.

Which scene was your favorite?

The doll scene. I laughed my a** off

Was The Wicked Dead worth the listening time?

Mostly enjoyable but there were some annoying parts.

Any additional comments?

Hope the next in the series is better.
