Please, please, please find a way to write the 3rd book. This is one of the best science based fiction stories I've read in years. There are so many ways this could go. There could be spinoff with other characters jumping univereses.....I am sorry sorry your publisher is an idiot. You mentioned once that you may write the ending and put it online. Please really think about doing it, I know the story is in your head and needs to be freed. Even if you just start with a chapter or 2. I will buy and listen to all your other books, I hope u get royalties!

When Pestilence comes for Sara Burn’s town, one thing is certain: everyone she knows and loves is marked for death. Unless, of course, the angelic-looking horseman is stopped, which is exactly what Sara has in mind when she shoots the unholy beast off his steed. Too bad no one told her Pestilence can’t be killed. Now the horseman, very much alive and very pissed off, has taken her prisoner, and he’s eager to make her suffer. Only, the longer she’s with him, the more uncertain she is about his true feelings towards her, and hers towards him. And now, well, Sara might still be able to save the world, but in order to do so, she'll have to sacrifice her heart in the process.

I started this series to see if I wanted to delve into her series for grown ups :). I'm hooked, laughing out loud, yelling and omg the tears! I've read a couple or a bunch of review's and I get that the love trial can be uncomfortable, there was a "just pick one and get back to the game" and one about Evie whining? So I'm old, like I'm not going to say old. The reason I love these characters so much is because they are written so well. Hopefully the people that complained about the indecision and whining are young adults who haven't had much self doubt or grief in there lives so they just don't get it. Hardcore paranormal/scifi/romance readers are always looking for a series that is surprising or different. Usually a series that takes you into an unrealistic, yet romantic world made real. Take it from an old woman who in a prior life was a teenager having a baby, then suddenly burying her very young husband and trying to make it in a world where no one (thank God) knew how hard it could be just to wake up. Because unless they burried that person, love of there life, soul mate, other parent of that beautiful child, they couldn't know. Sorry, even as an older person, I can identify with these books. JC has done a great job bringing out my inner child. I am greatful that I recently stumbled on this series, I hate that its almost over but I got to listen to them from start to finish.

And pull out whatever object you need. Narnia, Harry Potter, Dr. Who, Alice in Wonderland, Excalibur.... thats what the main character in this series does. He is a libriomancer / librarian and has read alot of books. He has worn Dr. Who's coat so he can stuff all the books he needs in the pockets (bigger on the inside) the Tardis is to big to pull through a book, want dirty Harry's gun, pull it out. Need to be healed....lots of books have magical healing items. Whether magical or mondane it can be used. There are alot of SyFy references, humor and some romance, enjoy.

I love the way all the books are intertwined in all the series, I want everything to workout for Nick but I need the DarkHunterverse to keep going. I got very excited when in a looking in the future session @ Santuary, she mentioned Nick holding one of Ash's sons and that Simi and her HUSBAND were there. Now I'm busy trying to figure out who Simi will marry. I haved loved the DarkHunterverse books for a very long time, thank you Sherrilyn!

While waiting for the next books in Sherrilyn Kenyons Dark Hunter, League and the new Ciprian series I stumbled across the Alternate series she coauthored. The books each take place in 2-3 days time in the main charactor, Deval's (dee-vol) life, each new book picks up exactly where the last stopped (with no resolution the story) so you definately need to read them in order. The authors do a good job explaing each charactor and the unique circumstances with gods, demons, psychics, witches, alterants and even a gargoyle who live among and protect man kind. I listen to my books while driving 200-400 miles a week and enjoy the way the reader captures seperate charaters giving them personalities and voice.
