I was never supposed to be a rock star. I had my life all planned out for me. Play football in college. Go to the NFL. Marry my high school sweetheart and live happily ever after. I broke both our hearts that day when I told her I was leaving. I was young. I made the right decision for me, but the wrong decision for us. I've poured my soul into my music, but I've never forgotten her. Her smell, her smile. And now I'm going back. After 10 years. I hope I can explain that after all this time. I still want her to be my forever girl.

Absolutely awful! I only purchased this book because of the movie trailer, which I’m considering not wasting my money.. if it’s ANYTHING like the book. Starting at the characters, Liam is a complete tool. JoJo is just.. completely unrealistic. The story is predictable and slow. I usually adore these cheesy love stories but this is horrible. I had to literally FORCE myself to finish even though I found myself throwing up in my mouth at the end.

I tried.. I just couldn't "relate" or even like the main character. The story failed at making me believe she didn't know what was going on.

Zachary Quinto - best known for his role as the Nimoy-approved Spock in the recent Star Trek reboot and the menacing, power-stealing serial killer, Sylar, in Heroes - brings his well-earned sci-fi credentials and simmering intensity to this audio-exclusive novella from master storyteller John Scalzi. One day, not long from now, it becomes almost impossible to murder anyone - 999 times out of a thousand, anyone who is intentionally killed comes back. How? We don't know.

Eleven-year-old Lauren O'Neil vanished one sunny afternoon as she walked home from school. Six years later, her parents Rachel and Dan still tirelessly scour their Oregon hometown and beyond, always believing Lauren will be found. Then one day, the call comes. Lauren has been rescued from a secluded farm mere miles away, and her abductor has confessed. Yet her return is nothing like Rachel imagined. Though the revelations about what Lauren endured are shocking, most heartbreaking of all is to see the bright-eyed, assertive daughter she knew transformed into a wary, polite stranger.

Seriously. I couldn't wait for the pain of listening to this to be over. It was predictable at every turn. The characters had no depth. Absolutely impossible to enjoy. Save your money on this one.

This was almost comical. I lost count (after 32) how many time I heard "my eyes rounded" is this a first book written? Seriously there aren't any other ways to describe eyes rounded?
The story was so hard to follow. There was NO depth to the characters. 👎🏻

This was my first Nora Roberts book and I'm not sure exactly what I was expecting. I only picked this book because of the raves and reviews. I'm glad I did! The story line was easy to follow, believable and horrifying! I literally could NOT put this down.
