There was more about the family drama between the guy she hired and his sister than there was about her situation. In fact, we get only glimpses of what she went through.

When it comes to confrontational time, a lot of sexual tension being released at an odd point in the story.

I didn't enjoy it at all and was really looking forward to this one. Lisa Gardner is a great author, but this book isn't one of her best in my opinion.

I got the audiobook and the narrator was male. Sometimes the narrator can pull off women's voices, but in this case, it was almost comical. Good story, but different from anything I've ever read from her.

I have issues with some male narrators who do women's voices. Such is the case with this one. the story just went on and on and I thought it would never do finish.

The story, itself, is a good one, though. If you can put up with it dragging on and the parts that almost seem to disconnect from the rest of the story, it's not a bad one.
