This is one of those books I hated til about 3/4 of the way through. Then I loved it. So hang in there through the tough parts. I almost did not and I am sure glad I did. Even after the book ends the Author gives a great message for the hurting soul.

What did you love best about Angels Walking?

The whole story line

What did you like best about this story?

Especially the sweet relationship between a young man and a confused old woman and how the Lord uses each of them to be each others miracle.

What about January LaVoy and Kirby Heyborne ’s performance did you like?

They both have pleasing voices

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Tyler played hymns for the old people in the home.

Any additional comments?

I enjoyed this book a lot. Hard to put down I loved the ending. Loved how the angels loved the humans and I loved the angel Ember ( I have a granddaughter with the same unusual name Ember who has beautiful long blond hair so it was especially sweet)

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The main character is really annoying at times. It is hard to like her. The reader has an ok voice but she really is not that great of a reader. I will listen to the others in the series just because I have a thing about not knowing the whole story. This one was painful to get through at times. But I think Claire might be getting more tolerable to. She finally got a clue by the end of the book and showed some maturity. So, I will give the others a chance.

What didn’t you like about Katy Cole’s performance?

It did not flow. Taking breaths in places that did not seems natural breaks in the sentences. She is not as good a reader as many other audible readers. It is not her voice that is the problem for me. Some readers just have a voice that I really don't like or don't fit the story. That is not the case here. I am sorry but I just think that Katy does not read well enough to be doing audible books.

If you could sum up Take a Chance on Me in three words, what would they be?

forgiveness, redemption, second-chances

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jenson

How could the performance have been better?

reader with a softer, less raspy voice

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

when forgiveness happens

Any additional comments?

there were 2 spots that the author should have elaborated on a little more and given the reader what they were waiting for instead of just leaving it up to their imagination. I really liked this book but the reader's voice annoyed me.

Ms Higgs has one of the best narrators voices I have heard yet and I listen to many audio books. She has done a fine job in both the writing and the narration. Thank you Liz

I loved this story. It was everything I hope for in an audiobook. This is only my 2nd Terri Blackstock book and I look forward to listening to more of them. The readers voice was very pleasant but the only complaint is that her reading was not the best. It was a bit choppy--not smooth.

Not the best book I have ever read but worth the read--or listening time. It was a good listen on a road trip and made the time go fast. I would recommend it to others
