Across the ranchlands and cities of his home state, Rory Yates's discipline and law-enforcement skills have carried him far: from local highway patrolman to the honorable rank of Texas Ranger. He arrives in his hometown to find a horrifying crime scene and a scathing accusation: he is named a suspect in the murder of his ex-wife, Anne, a devoted teacher whose only controversial act was ending her marriage to a Ranger. In search of the killer, Yates plunges into the inferno of the most twisted and violent minds he's ever encountered, vowing to never surrender.

I have to say I haven’t liked aJames Patterson book since he quit writing them. This one is right up there. I listened to the whole book. It didn’t make any sense. I had hope toward the middle, but no . Where’s a butler when you need a good suspect ? Yuck.. waste of time.

Not Enough Johnny O . My favorite parts of the preceding book, Wire in The Blood., were the outrageous planning and egocentric comments by the protagonist. This book , I felt the best bits were not included. Ok book though. Still a fan .

Red Notice ... to me this book was very frightening . A country with no real justice . Like a game of poker where the rules change randomly with no warning . It was a VERY LONG book. Which seemed to me , a man. Claiming naivety, while completely legal , a very dangerous game . Russia isn’t really known for their love of Americans .
While I was a child , I was aware of this fact. I believe this would be impossible for a far more intelligent person to be unaware of this.
It was horrible how many people were sacrificed in a sharks pursuit of capital. And he’s too little , too late , show of his “charity” toward the cause of “being a human rights activist “ Just my take after listening to the Wall Street of Russia’s self righteousness .

I listened to this whole series, there are 4 books total. I would describe it as “Save Your Soul For Dummies, ( or a survivalist guide ) . I really got into these books. Despite the whiney butt, no showers, hot soda ? You get used to it. The concept is very cool. A mixture of recent craziness. Ok ...I have to say it . One Spoiler Alert ! The Antichrist with his very own reality show . .... just too strange but it brings things into perspective for people now.

That’s all Folks. But truly wonderfully written, narrated. And despite the topic, quite a bit of humor.
