This was not worth the $2 I paid for it. It pointed out life saving tips like "What do you need when the lights out?" and answered "a flashlight or you'll be in the dark". Well duh! The first chapter was actually just and advertisement for other books. Yep waste of time and money.

After decades of planning, the contagion was unleashed, and overnight hundreds of millions died and came back as rampaging, undead monsters. The living that had been lucky enough to survive the first day of carnage, lucky enough to be in the right place, and lucky enough that some of them had the skills to survive soon found out there was much more to worry about than just zombies.

At once wildly original and stuffed with irresistible nostalgia, Ready Player One is a spectacularly genre-busting, ambitious, and charming debut—part quest novel, part love story, and part virtual space opera set in a universe where spell-slinging mages battle giant Japanese robots, entire planets are inspired by Blade Runner, and flying DeLoreans achieve light speed.

I have enjoyed this story line from the begining - the narrator does a great job - the story line is gripping and I've looked forward to the next book every time. However, I can't help but notice the length of the books is now only half what the books were when the series started - and although this one was headed in a good direction it ends abruptly after a mere 4 hours with nothing resolved. Seriously a let down. I notice the price hasn't gone down to match the length of the story...... Come on Mr Talluto.......

Would you listen to Chaos Theory again? Why?

Can't right now - getting ready to start book 2! But absolutely I plan on listening to it again. Read some of the previous reviews and didn't have the highest expectations - boy was I pleased. Loved it. Rich Restucci combine the right amount of Zompoc to humor and the main characters are easy to get behind so you want to hear more...

Which scene was your favorite?

Couldn't really pick one favorite scene because they all had something that made you eager to hear the next chapter.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Wicked Witty!

Any additional comments?

I'm a West Coast girl but Michael Kramer was amazing narating this one - Enough of the New Englander accent to bring almost a 1940's detective story feel but in a Zompoc story... It brings all the characters to life and ups the humor level dramatically. Don't miss this one!

Yes! and I only say that about the audio books I really enjoy. I will however wait until I have listened to all of them and start over again in case I missed anything.....

Who was your favorite character and why?

I enjoyed all the humor in all the characters and having Eric read his own book really made the characters come to life.

Which scene was your favorite?

I actually felt tears well up in my eyes when they talked to Trina ... actual tears ... in a Zombie story!

Any additional comments?

Can't talk now.... book 2 is waiting for me!

They were fiendishly clever but they didn't take into account the vets, the truckers, and the two-fisted fighters who didn't know how to give up. Gunny and his band of survivors continue their journey along the Zombie Road, saving as many as they can along the way. They power through the undead hordes with their modified semi-trucks to beat the ticking clock of nuclear meltdowns.

Simpson throws PC to the wind in his fictional depiction of the "Zombie Apocalypse" I couldn't wait to continue the story with book 2. This is one of freshest takes on the most popular genre of our time and I can't wait for book 3.

What about Eric A. Shelman’s performance did you like?

It was fair, story never really grabbed you. Narrator wasn't bad but he did give Lilly kind of a drag-ish voice. Not sure why didn't choose a woman to narrate. Also, don't listen to it in mixed company because certain bad words were used to an unnecessary excess.

Where does Tattered Remnants rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Spoiler: Decent story line so long as you are looking at it for what it is - a Zombie Apocalypse story. Got a little "out there" with the vampires - but hey if there are zombies why not vampires.....

What other book might you compare Tattered Remnants to and why?

I've listen to all 9 of Mark Tufos other Zombie Fallout books and just bought 10.

What about Sean Runnette’s performance did you like?

Love Sean Runnette's expanse of voices - really makes you feel like there are multiple people reading. The man sounds like he never tires LOL.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I think it would make a great TV Movie or even comedy/zombie movie - the tag line should be.... Keeps you wanting more!

Any additional comments?

Funny and yet I found myself holding my breath a couple of times or thinking NO NO NO!
